I purchased a Lunch and early the next morning, I saw that a piece of chicken was ‘literally’ BLACK! I immediately called the Mound Road location several times & no-one ‘ever’ answered the phone! So, I tried the Detroit location & spoke to a gentleman explaining what happened re: the ‘literally’ BLACK piece of chicken! I told him that I would bring the Lunch back. He immediately apologized and said that I didn’t have to bring the Lunch back and that he would Refund my meal (Lunch) & he would also treat me to a Dinner of my choice—& he said he was also texting the Mound Road location to have them honor what he had just told me. About 2-3 weeks later, I called & spoke w/the same gentleman, reminding him of our call (he remembered)…However, someone took the phone from him & proceeded to tell me that she would NOT honor what the gentleman told me (as he confirmed w/her what he had told me). She proceeded to tell me that ‘her name was Angela, and that she was the Owner’. We spent way tooooo long talking about this for me…for the ‘Owner’ of a business to ‘know’ that your business served ‘BLACK’ chicken…and I’m also telling you that I travel 20 min.-‘one way’ to suppport your business and have done so for the past few years…and, you say that you will NOT honor what you ‘know’ was promised to me…that you will replace my meal w/the ‘Lunch’ and, I would have to pay the $4.50 for the small additional side I wanted. I want the Owner, Angela, to know that I will be informing my family, friends, associates, and etc of ‘this’ terribly unprofessional, unethical ‘experience’ that I had…sparing them All!!! Read moreWhoever owns this establishment, educate and train your staff on customer and professional etiquette. The only reason why I'm rating a 1 is because of customer service alone. I was asked to wait in my car for 20 minutes because of covid, understandable! However, after 20 minutes I reentered the store thinking my food would be ready. That was the time the cashier could have told me hey it'll be an extra 5 to 10 minute,THAT DIDNT HAPPEN. She proceeded to help other customers in a line, and after waiting for 7 more minutes after the 20 I was told, she said "I need for you to go wait in your car it's gone be 5 more minutes", with her hands flung. Waiting for quality food isn't the issue, the issue is the manner in which you address your customers. I could've waited another 20 minutes no problem honestly, but asking a simple question as, "Are you sure it will be ready then?" (After already waiting seemed to somehow upset the cashier) As if I did something wrong. "I just go off off what they tell me", referring to the cooks. The issue is that you assume people have an issue with wait time, when in actuality it's the poor service. A simple I'm sorry for the inconvenience would have made the outcome different. Read moreI've been here multiple times as per the food is good but every time I've been here the service of the cashiers specifically is always as bad as bad can get . Usually the cashiers have as bad of an attitude as you can get for working in the service field and I've have tried many times just to see if maybe the person on that particular day was just having a bad day but nah literally every time I've been there it was just more of the same . An sadly after this last experience were as the moment I hit the door the cashier was eyeballing me as if I had done something simply by just walking in the place an instantly begin with one eyebrow raised high and the rest of her face twisted as if she was doing me a favor for existing in this place . An so she also proceed to be argumentative when there was no argument simply because I asked a question as you know customers do Lol , so at this point I tried to support local but when your money and support is not respected then I guess they just must respect my absence and sadly I am really not the kind of person who likes to complain about anything but I guess whoever the cashier was today on July 11, 2019 at around 5:30 pm was , was just there to inform me that my money was not necessary...
