Sushi Bon — Restaurant in Warren

Always had positive experience except for tonight. The staff were extremely rude. There was a new waiter who was really nice but was being treated horribly by the the other staff especially by a staff named Joshua. I took couple of my friends to dine in there for the first time but their customer service was horrible. We got food that we did not order and even though we said we will pay the full price for it the staff created a big scene inside the restaurant while we were dining and continued to suggest the waiter bring us the food we did not want. Joshua told the waiter to bring back the tray to us. HOW RUDE!!!! His tone was disgusting and he should not be the face of the restaurant. It is bad for the business. If you cannot be nice to customers you have no business working at a restaurant. GET A NEW JOB! Or learn some manners. They have embarrassed me so badly that I will never dine in there ever again. I just felt bad for the waiter who was being treated very poorly by a loser colleague and a bully at work I would say. This situation could have been easily avoided but all the staff including the chef made it to be a very bad scene and people that were dining with us knew how bad the situation got. The couple next to us even asked us if we are seeing what they are seeing. It was the worst dining experience ever. We offered to pay full price and paid full price for food we didn't even eat. That's not the main issue for me though, my main problem was I took my friends out for a nice evening out and they just ruined it for us. What a horrible restaurant experience. Hope management sends his/her staff through some rigorous customer service and hospitality training or he will be out of business soon. I usually do a lot of take out from there because they have good sushi but I don't think I'll ever go back after...

This sushi restaurant was different form many restaurants. It was mainly because of the atmosphere and vibe here. It was really quiet. The music was really low and all of the guests were talking so calmly. The restaurant was also self service in certain ways like for water or tea refills.

The food here was amazing, and it was really filling! I started off with the shrimp tempura off of the appetizer (deep fried) section. It came with tempura sauce, but I did not use the tempura sauce. The shrimp was unlike I have had before. It was crispy, it was perfectly cooked. The breading was light and crunchy. It is something I would definitely recommend. I am a fan of their "special roll" section on the menu. I ordered the mango Chicago, the futomaki, and the yum yum; this is also the order that I liked most. The potato crunch on the mango Chicago was a nice compliment to the mango, cucumber, and crab. The crab, egg, and pickled radish mixture in the futomaki was something that I have not had before. The salmon and tuna mixture in the yum yum was filling.

The hospitality here was exceptional. On the menu cover, it states "tip is not required; please do not leave cash tips on the table; but if you put it in the tip jar, very appreciated." This was shocking to me because I had a lower expectation of the type of service I would receive; however, it was the absolute opposite. I believe they went above and beyond. October (Thursday) 10, 2025. I visited Sushi Bon and it was so good. My day started from entry into the building greeted with a warm smile from the male customer representative as he explained our food choices. We ended up trying Dragon Fire!!!! Whew, this was an AWESOME CHOICE as this was ABSOLUTE HEAVEN. I could taste every bit of those enchanting flavors. I had some tea and I couldn’t talk as the flavors were sooo good. All I could do is mmmmm. The atmosphere was so cozy. The music was perfect.I also had a crab and cream cheese sushi (Idk the name) However, it was Mmmmmm, It was so filling. Sushi Bon is definitely not stingy with the crab meat. This place is the BEST!! This is the perfect place for business meetings and a sophisticated party for family/ friends. Staff is very welcoming and you don’t get that welcoming spirit everywhere.
