Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Warren

Number one the food here is amazing my rating is not showing the quality of the food my rating is showing the quality of the service I literally just went up there from placing a carry out order the young lady that took my order hung up on me without telling me what my total was. I assumed it was the reception so I called back to confirm and with a nonchalant response she replies” oh I couldn’t hear you so I just said ok.” once I arrived at the establishment I gave the lady my name she was very rude told me my total took the money from “my hand” And placed my change on the counter as if she couldn’t put it back in my hand? I really hope my skin tone didn’t play a factor in this incident. After I still decided to leave a tip because at the end of the day working in the food service industry is not an easy task she” did not” say thank you she proceeded to tie up my bag give me a straw and drop my food bag on the counter table no thank you No have a nice day no customer service at all which is very sad because I have been coming to this place for a long time and the customer service has never been so poorly. What is really unfortunate is the person behind me which was the same race as she was she was very friendly with that is not OK people should be treated equally add an establishment regardless on what your prejudices especially when they are friendly and they still leave a tip very poor customer service never experienced that before will not be going back almost offended to the point where I might want to take this to...

After placing an order through DoorDash, we immediately called the restaurant to request no tomatoes in the meal. The person who answered rudely said the food was already packaged and we’d “just have to pick them out.” It took repeating multiple times that we had just placed the order before he finally handed the phone to someone else.

When the food arrived, I started eating and after a few bites, discovered what looked like a hair. I pulled it out and confirmed it was a long, blondish strand. I called the restaurant to inform them, and the person insisted it couldn’t have come from their kitchen because they don’t employ any women. He suggested the driver might be responsible, but the driver had short hair. When I pressed further, he admitted some male employees have long hair and added, rather dismissively, that he’d have to start telling everyone to wear a hair net. His tone throughout was unprofessional and rude.

Fortunately, DoorDash was helpful. I sent them a photo and received a refund. Overall, I’d be cautious ordering from this place.

My favorite middle eastern restaurant around here (and there's a lot of places to choose from). The chicken kabob is perfectly seasoned and cooked just right (chared out and moist inside). The rice is also excellent. And can't forget about the fresh "straight out of the oven" pita bread. My family gets the combo platter for two every few weeks and it's enough to feed two adults and two kids (we usually have leftovers as well).

The other thing I want to say about Oasis is how nice the staff is. True story... I only had 20 bucks on me and ordered 3 sandwiches and fries (take out) for me and the kids. My wife called and asked if I could get her a salad. Long story short I didn't have enough cash to pay for everything and tried to pay with my card but there was an issue with the payment gateway. Instead of telling me too bad, they gave us a salad on the house. Very nice people, excellent food. We will keep coming...
