Friesz's Donuts — Restaurant in Warrensburg

We walked in and were greeted by an order taker who was more interested in her phone than our existence. It was about 8:30am when we visited this establishment and they had less donuts to choose from than McDonald's ice cream flavors. We asked the girl who was practically making love to her phone if any more donuts were going to be made. She gave us a look that not even military cadets recieve at boot camp. "NO!" She said with a hiss. So we ordered what donuts we could bare the thought of eating and we took them to a booth and began to dine. While partaking in a decently over priced donuts, the erie quiet of the donut dispensery allowed for us to hear a scour from the girl as a car turned into the parking lot and more patrons entered the establishment. Those customers received the same service that we recieved that would make Squidward look like he's excellent at his job. Then, I went up to the counter to ask for some water and this time was greeted by a woman who came from the back. This lady made Judge Judy seem like a nice woman. She shoved the ice in the cup and filled it with sink water. "Need a lid!" She scoured to which I replied "no thanks". As she put the cup of sink water on top of the case, "its 50 cents!" She growled.

Moral of the story, the donuts are good but not worth the price and poor treatment from the employee and the mean lady who I assume...

Good donuts (not great). Staff....not so much! My 11 yr old grandson & I went there this morning @ 10:45am. Their posted closing time for today is 2:30pm. We sat down at a table to eat. After the customer behind us left, the 2 counter workers quickly announce to us they were 'sold-out' & would be IMMEDIATELY closing up. We would need to leave the store now????? (NOTE: they were not sold out! They still had 8+ trays of various donuts in the display case). The younger worker stated "Don't get anything on the floor, we have to mop it before we leave." My grandson & I put everything back in the bag & just left. (We said nothing!) The younger worker was standing right on our heels & was locking the door aa we stepped onto the sidewalk, she had the shades shut before we pulled out. This maybe 'normal ' for them, but it was HORRIBLE customer service & they were RUDE!!! It would have only taken us 10 mins max to eat one donut each & leave, but they couldnt be bothered. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. We will...

Doughnuts are pretty good, but they have my favorite coffee in town so it’s quite a bummer when you get there and it says they’ve “sold out” for the day. I get it, you can sell out of doughnuts if you’re doing good business, but I don’t understand how you could sell out of coffee. It’s also concerning that I’ve been there 3 days in a row with no luck in being able to purchase anything. One morning it was even as early as 8 o’clock when I got there and they were “sold out” 3 hours after open. When I peeked inside to see if they were really closed I saw MULTIPLE racks of doughnuts still there.. I hope this issue can be resolved as I would much rather spend my dollar at a local business than at the Starbucks...
