I dined in for the soft opening and left very impressed! The restaurant has a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a friendly staff. The highlight, of course, was the foodâ so good!
The crispy batter of the fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the inside was sooo juicy and tender. Our table ordered the classic fried, garlic soy, flaming soy, and the yangyum flavors. Everything came out perfectly fresh and hot. As a Korean, Iâve tried many fried chicken places but this place really surprised me. My personal favorite flavor was the flaming soy (beware: spice level is high)! If you have never tried Korean fried chicken before, youâre in for a treat.
The sides were equally impressive. The pickled radish was a perfect compliment, and the curly + prinkle fries were BOMBđ¤¤.
Bonus: they have boba too! We tried the mango and misugaru which was a great finale to our dinner.
Itâs clear theyâve put a lot of thought into their menu. I canât wait for this place to officially open because I know itâs going to get very popular. Highly recommend checking it out, especially if you love great food and a relaxed, welcoming vibe! Five stars...
Read moreWe ordered several dishes including, Cheese Tteokbokki, Ramen, Bulgogi Dupbap, volcano tenders, soy chicken wings, watercress salad, radish kimchi, Pringle fries, hush puppies, mozz sticks, Thai slushy, and mango milk. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great. I think prices and portions were fair, considering the ingredients used and the taste of the food. I think a lot of people are spoiled because of American style Chinese take out is large quantities at a low price. Not so with Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, or Japanese. I feel like most of this cuisine is high quality ingredients and a lot of import cost involved with specific specialty spices, condiments, etc. I am ok with paying more for something very different and of quality. I also donât mind waiting for it. Anything done correctly shouldnât be super fast. If I want a cheap, fast meal, Iâll hit a chain style burger/fast food style establishment. Overall excellent....
