We almost skipped over Faang Thai but dropped in one night and we've returned many times since! The menu is humble, not tremendously exotic, but it has all the bases covered. Our kids love their Pad Thai (though it's not our favorite) and their green curry is spot-on. However, it's their Pho which has made me a believer. Never truly a fan, ultimately my wife grew tired of sharing with me. It's really quite good and they offer a generous portion of beef, chicken or shrimp (see the attached photo). Just the perfect meal. The prices fit our budget and we've never left hungry or yearning for more. Just that sweet spot of price/comfort/taste. It's nothing fancy, but what they do - they do well. The patient wait staff has always been knowledgeable (as much of my family needs gluten-free information and options) and they've always been accomodating and friendly - spanning several servers and dinner sessions. And finally, Sundays are half-off wine (at least as of March 2022) which never hurts! Will return without a doubt.

I really love this place, the food is great but lately the portions have been very off. They are expensive, slightly overpriced, but the quality of food is good and it's the only Thai place around. This meal (Rama chicken) is $16. They have recently raised prices... understandable with the cost of food. paying $16 for a dinner portion that is clearly half full on top of the fact that a little cup of extra sauce is $2 and fried rice instead of white rice is an extra $5, is ridiculous. Im comparing this to similar qaulity asian food in Warrenton. The fresh rolls are also much smaller than they used to be. I want to give the benefit of the doubt but this continues to happen and iv asked friends who have expressed the same. Wish I could give them more stars as like I said the food is really good. If your going to increase prices don't decrease portion sizes. I have a lunch portion container that I put this in just to make sure I wasn't being a crazy Karen and it fit perfectly. Irritated.

7/25/24 - We started with a Faang Rita & a French Martini, both were delicious and really hot the spot after a long day. For the appetizer we had the bacon wrapped scallops that are always amazing. For dinner I had the aptly named Crabmeat and fried rice. There is so much Crabmeat. Delicious!! The wife had Rama Chicken that she always enjoys and for dessert we shared the Sticky Rice with Mango. Very good. As always the service is amazing. 10/14/23 - Food is still amazing and the service is great. We started off with the grilled bacon wrapped scallops. They had a wood fired flavor and were amazing. I had the Pho which was fabulous. The beef wasn't chewy like a lot of others. The noodles were great. The fresh lime, bean sprouts, jalapeno and basil added just the right flavor. The wife had the Rama Chicken which she enjoyed. She said it just the right amount of spice and wasn't to much heat for her liking. Service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Incredibly disappointing service when asked to correct an issue with our food order.

Ordered our takeout tonight to be totally mild, with only spice being on the side, since we had someone dining with us that needed mild food. I was given a dish that had "+1 spicy" on the receipt, which I noticed when I got back home. (My fault, should have checked while still at the restaurant). So instead of adding the spice to the side, as requested, it was add to the dish and the side.

I called back after getting home from picking our food up and was told by the gentleman that answered that they can't do anything about it (not a refund, or delivering me the proper dish) but that I could drive back to the store with the wrong food and they'd exchange it for the food I had ordered 45 minutes ago. This hardly seemed like a reasonable solution for their error.

I asked to speak to the manager on duty to see what other options there may be as I didn't want to drive there and back yet again. A young lady picked up named Hailey, and told me she was the one that took my order and proceeded to tell me "mild actually means spicy" ... to which I explained, no, it doesn't and I had specifically requested the only spice to be on the side of the dish.

She then told me there's nothing they can do, and that I can "take it up with the owner" but he'll just say the same thing. She then told me she's not even the manager, and there is in fact no manager on duty tonight.

I explained it's poor customer service to charge for a dish that was made improperly with zero solution for the customer aside from asking them to drive back to the store (which is yet another customer inconvenience).

She didn't seem to comprehend or care about this at all, and told me she's "just doing her job"

I'd say they didn't do a great job at doing their jobs tonight.

Just want to add, this was on a Wednesday evening at about 5:30 pm. There were 2 tables in the restaurant when I picked my food up, and 2 employees...

We have been coming here for the past 7 years (loyally) and I can say that something has changed in the last 6 months…and not in a good way.

The quality of food has gone significantly downhill, and the service has gotten so bad that we only carry out now…which gets to my next point:

I brought our food home tonight and, of course, they did the exact opposite of what we asked. We aren’t talking about some Karen-esque request…my son just didn’t want vegetables in his fried rice. I get home with our food and not only did it look like his fried rice had double veggies, but my spicy beef fried rice was missing the “spicy” and must have substituted it with 10W-30 motor oil since that’s all I could taste. To top it all off, they told me I would have to drive all the way back WITH THE WRONG FOOD, for them to replace it; IDK if it’s so they knew I wasn’t trying to scam them or something? I will say I have never experienced a restaurant that requires proof they messed up and for me to deliver their mistake to them, just to get what I originally asked for.

While the nice older lady was apologetic and made sure the new food was correct, it doesn’t make up for the $81 to feed three people…plus the gas and inconvenience. Not even a “please accept a discount next time you come in” or anything was offered. I’ve been to numerous places where they just take it off the bill, but no such gestures exist here to keep their customers. Sadly I feel like they are on borrowed time and will become just another empty storefront in our town…or another vape shop (because we don’t have enough of those). It’s also apparent that they don’t care since the owners don’t even respond to...

I would give zero stars if I could.

My children were quietly sitting in their seats and our waiter wearing a hockey jersey and a man bun decided he needed to tell my oldest to not sit on his knees, and to put his butt in the seat. Strike 1. After my husband and I both told him that he is fine, he seemed a bit shaken up.

We ordered, but when our food arrived, half of the table's food was completely wrong. We were out celebrating a birthday, so for half the table to be finished eating by the time the other half got their food, it pretty much ruined the experience. Strike 2.

We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled because the entire table had empty glasses. Strike 3.

We did not get good service, so we left the tip we felt was earned. When we went to our car, the waiter went out to the front of the restaurant and waited for us to drive by so he could question the tip we left. My husband asked him if he felt his service was good and his answer was that we stiffed him.

I've never had a waiter wait outside the front of the restaurant to confront us, as the customer, about a tip that was left. His tip was generous considering the service he provided. This used to be our favorite Thai restaurant in town, but we will not be back.

Tips are given for the service provided, not the total on the bill. If he wanted a better tip, he should have provided better service.

Restaurants should also have a dress code for their staff. A waiter wearing a hockey jersey is...
