Always good service for dinner but I will not be back in the mornings again. My breakfast order has been messed up twice now in the last 30 days. tater tot things are always greasy so I can never eat them, coffee is not pre-mixed so I have to attempt to do it in the car somewhere and they use Styrofoam cups for everything. I am still a little shocked about that this day in age, but than they are the absolute cheapest cup on the market and the most horrible for the environment.
Stopped in for breakfast drive through and had to wait 5min to place my order got up to the widow got my food and card back without a receipt, I hope the amount paid was correct and than was asked to pull forward to wait for a small coffee after she asked if I already received my coffee. 5min go by cars pass me, approaching 10 minutes & 8 cars have gone by no coffee, 2 guys who parked after I was asked to pull forward come out walk passed coffee cups in hand no coffee, 2 more cars pull past still no coffee. It is now more than 10 minutes with 10 people served after me and who knows how many in the lobby and no coffee. SO I leave. I have now just paid more than $5 for a sandwich. I ended up stopping down the road to get coffee somewhere else which caused more lost time.
Called to make a complaint and the manager was a bit accusing making sure she pointed out that there were only 2 cars waiting for coffee and I left and the other car did not and they received theirs. I asked why it had taken so long and how it was possible that all those other people walked passed with coffee cups in hand and we were still left sitting, how long is too long to wait for something in a drive thru before you come to the assumption you have been forgotten? No attempt was made to address the long wait or lack of receipt, nor did anyone offer a different option since they were out of coffee. She did offer to replace the coffee I had already paid for but made no offer to compensate for being forgotten and left sitting for more than 10minutes. And honestly their coffee is not that good so why would I want to come back in for a small $1 coffee that, gasp I already paid for? Especially when I can go to one of the 5 other breakfast places in the area and not have to regularly wait in line to get my order. First time I have ever made a complaint to a restaurant for poor service and have been made to feel it is my fault because I did not wait long enough.
There is a difference in service between morning and afternoon and the afternoon seems to be doing much better. Sad thing is I was not even planning to stop at Chic-A-Fil this morning as I have had a few bad run ins with service in the mornings, I was planning to stop at Dunkin Donuts and missed the turn off, next time I will just keep driving it is not worth the wait...
Read moreI wasn't pleased with the service and was not greeted when I came in. After ordering, I picked up all my belongings to head for a table. My arms were very full. I was not offered second mile service when my food came immediately after picking up my belongings off the counter. I adjusted everything and took tray the lady held out for me to take. She didn't even offer to take it to my table.
As I was eating, she walked over to the side where I was and asked a few people if they needed anything. She looked back at me then walked to the side and asked everyone if they needed anything. She then hesitantly walked over to me to see if I needed anything and I told her no thank you.
I did a few things on my computer and started eating my yogurt. I had a strange taste; it kind of sour. I tried it again then told myself not to keep eating it, to get a different one which I did. It tasted a little better so I told the management it was better when she asked. Please understand that I love, love, love chick fil A's yogurt. I think just didn't taste good. It was as if maybe it wasn't refrigerated properly or had been left out too long before being refrigerated.
I do hope things get better there or I will have to find somewhere else to get my breakfast.
Another thing I noticed is there is not very much diversity there. I certainly hope that had no bearing on there service I received this morning, 3/30/2018. I will keep my eye out if I go back to this Warrenton, VA location...
Read moreNever had a bad experience with Chick Fil A until I came to this location. Line is usually long, which is fine as they're a popular chain. However, after you get through the drive through and all the way to the window, that's when the sub par customer experience really starts to kick in.
Once you get to the window they have you pull forward to the stop sign, which would normally be reserved for the overly complex or tricky orders for any restaurant. However, at this stellar example of a horrible fast food experience, every customer gets the opportunity to pull forward to the stop sign. Which leaves one wondering who came up with that brilliant piece of customer experience engineering?
Once you wait the requisite amount of time at the stop sign, you have about a 25% chance of your order being correct.
And if you dare ask for more sauce, you are greeted with a 'no, store policy is you get the amount of sauces that we put in your bag.' If you have the time for the drive, the gainesville location is much more efficient, easier to work with, and your order will undoubtedly be correct.
Realistically, unless you like gambling with your dinner experiences, please go to ANY other...
