RedZone Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Warrenton

Myself and a friend met here for lunch around 1230pm on a weekday, there was a couple sitting at the bar and one other patron in the restaurant. Not sure if the waiter was having a off day, didnt want to be there or it was something else, but his table side manner was horrible. He was very dry and seemed a bit impatient. About 30 mins into our lunch, there was a couple that came in and had some children with them, that he seemed to know because he chatted with them. Then another couple came in and they sat in the bar area as well and he was very pleasant with them as well. I got the impression maybe these were locals and he was familiar with them because the difference in the service was very noticeable. When my friend ordered a mixed drink, the glass was filled to the very top of the glass, the waiter actually spilled some on the table and on the floor. My friend gave him a napkin so he could wipe the spill, and he never said anything just walked away. Again, I would chalk it up to a bad day, but it didnt seem like the other patrons got the same shitty service. This is a customer oriented business. Honestly the only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of the 5 this joint deserves is the Google false advertisement that they were open until 2am which is why I came based on timing.

Now that I know they were closing at midnight post speaking to the bartender, my next rating will take that in to account.

The bartenders...aces. From a customer service aspect to the made drinks to respectably telling me they closed ar midnight. 5 stars.

Kitchen was still open thankfully. The entire menu makes you feel like a fat kid with a donut, Waffle House waffle, and Krispy Kreme Glazed (w the light on) or their Lemon filled (mmmm mmmm mmmm) donut.

Settled on the chicken quesadilla tossed w Buffalo sauce. Saw it as an option looking at the wraps on the menu. How do the kids say...the bomb dot com, on fleek, 100 no cap. One of the best quesadillas from a non tex mex or authentic Hispanic joint.

Small servings for big prices. Do not order the Southwest Salad. The menu promises salad greens, topped with chili, cheddar, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, chives, jalapeños and salsa in a giant tortilla bowl for $14. After this salad was set in front of me I found out that apparently the tortilla bowl was discontinued, the kitchen was out of guacamole, there were no chives, and the chili was runny and wilted the lettuce within a few minutes. They took $4 off because there was no guacamole, but that still means I paid $10 for a warm wilted disappointment in a shallow bowl.

My husband liked his chicken sandwich, but the size of the sandwich and the amount of fries he was given were so anemic that he was done with his meal by the time our server came back from asking the kitchen about the missing guacamole on my salad.

Sadly we will skip dining here...
