Goodfellas Pizza — Restaurant in Warrenton

Update Feb 23 The owner reached out to me and has taken steps to make this right, when we were given the 10% discount there was a sequence of events that just placed both the business and the resolution in a bad place. I am once again a happy and satisfied customer, we will continue to make this our Friday Night dinner of choice.

Love their pizzas, and everything else on the menu we have tried has been ‘on point’.

Original review below: I love their pizza. Have had a few subs and desserts, those are great as well.

They get two stars from me. Last weekend we ordered two pizzas, after waiting two and a half hours for delivery I called. The person who answered was very apologetic and offered a free pizza. My two smaller kids and I couldn’t eat three pizzas in one night so I requested a coupon or a free pizza in the future which I was promised.

Pizza arrived three hours after I ordered it and there was no discount and I was charged normal price, which I expected and was no issue.

The next week I called in another order. Mentioned I was the guy from last week with the three hour wait time, and if they would honor the feee pizza deal from last week. The person who answered the phone went to ask the manager, and what I ended up with was 10% off the order. Less than $5.

It's a take-out pizza spot but does have seating for about 12-16. So three stars on atmosphere should be viewed as neutral. Service was excellent, friendly, and speedy. We had the Greek pizza and I highly recommend it. Skimpy on the "gyro" meat but the small strips were plump, moist, tender, with a decent flavor. The veggies were bright and fresh. The crust was excellent and the sauce was good and held up well because the pizza was very wet, in a good way, due to the fresh tomatoes. Look, I'm a NYC kid so this pie isn't comparable nor should it be. For local pizza this is currently my go-to spot. But....... bring your own napkins and your own cup. The single ply, super thin, napkins suck. They are awful and scream cheap, low-class. I get the low cost is attractive and all but we required so many that the savings went out the window. And the beverage cups, same as the napkins. Cheap. So small that I had take my knife and nearly cut them in half. At $3 you feel taken but the getting up 4-5 times to get us soda while we ate 1/2 of a pie was disruptive. I guess no ice was an option. Finally, we ordered a take-out Philly cheese steak pie. It was fine, but I would never order it again. All in all I highly recommend giving them a try. We will be back to explore...

I was excited to see Goodfellas come to town. We ordered the cheese steak and fries. The cheesesteak came on a very thick roll and was topped with what appears to be chopped Romaine lettuce and tomato and it was supposed to come with fried onions but there wasn't any. The steak itself was chopped and looked more like hamburger then steak. I'm sorry to say I have to give this Cheesesteak a D! The Fries however were awesome! I can't say enough good things about them, they are the best! The customer service is awesome. Very nice guys. So sorry to give a bad review but the cheesesteak is less than average 😞 so I'll have to continue to go to Spitony's Pizza for the best Cheesesteak around. UPDATE.... I'm looking forward to trying the Pizza next time. June 18th 2021 so I ordered a regular pizza with sausage green pepper and onion I'll give it a three and a half stars the pizza was good but it was dry when it comes to Sauce. I don't like a lot of sauce but this pizza needed a bit more it might be the best pizza in town. They are not skimpy on toppings which is...
