Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Warrenton

So disappointed in having to post this. First and foremost I am 100% a Ledos fan. Traveling across the US and Canada being forced to eat everyone home town Pizza or just chain pizza. Sharing how great Ledos is as my home town was always fun. Where they do not cut corners and they quality of their pepperoni that isnplaced exactly on each square is so perfect. Hundreds of people. Last night's experience was a huge disappointment. I feel directly related to no manager or failure to empower employees to do what is right. Order was ready as scheduled. Very nice young lady was delivering at the counter. I asked for a cup of olives since I had forgotten when I placed the order. She confirmed I ordered the meat lovers. She rhrn informed me that it was made with the meatlovers chopped mix in error. What? Chopped mix I was very confused. Her term may have been different I am describing what it was. I feel maybe calzone filling. It looked nowhere near like a Ledos Pizza. I was not very pleased. How can you know an order is incorrect, then ask the customer do they want it or does the customer want to wait for a new one. Why would they not correct it and just tell me when I arrive we discovered and error and your new pizza in the oven. So I wait for new Pizza. They did not remake my wings or my Ravioli. So now I have waited, and 2 of 3 parts of order no longer fresh. Empowered to do what is right failed. To finalize there was zero consideration. Not a coupon for future order. Not a credit for what I purchased. Nothing. Just here is your order and have a nice evening. I feel She was just embarrassed since she knew it was bad service ans was not trained or empowered to resolve. Order was at 6:15 so just normal workload. So...

Okay so I've been gluten free now for about 6 months and it turns out that all the really tasty stuff has gluten. One of those tasty things that I've had to forego for way too long is pizza. In a pizza party world I have become nothing but a spectator, and I had pretty much resigned myself to that sad fate. Yep that was the unhappy truth of my life...... until now.

Recently, I had an unexpected and surprisingly successful foray into the world of gluten free pizza. And what's really noteworthy about that experience is that the gluten free pizza tasted like.... well, Pizza!

That's not as much of a no-brainer as it may seem; because although various folks have attempted to make gluten-free bread type products, the result is usually a slimy particulate mess. Yeah, turns out that gluten is pretty important stuff. It gives bread that wonderful spongy, absorbant cohesion that makes it so fun and tasty.

So my experience yesterday at Ledo was like meeting an old friend whose company I had dearly missed. Well, yes I suppose the metaphor fails because I did eat that old friend, after all. But you get the point. the Marine Corps has a word to describe the kind of Excellence I experienced yesterday. The word is: Outstanding! So I highly recommend Ledo's OUTSTANDING Gluten free pizza. I am disturbed by the sheer volume of Halloween decorations in this store as of Oct. 7, 2021. I usually appreciate the warm, bright and friendly atmosphere of the Warrenton Ledos, but tonight it was downright creepy. Now, to be clear there's nothing disturbing about a few Halloween decorations and nice fall colors, totally cool! October 5, 2022, another year and I can't emphasize enough how AWKWARD and UNCOMFORTABLE Ledos becomes around Halloween. Again, a few Halloween decorations would not be awkward, but these decorations take up so much space that people waiting on their carryout orders have no where to stand. Also, the door is literally blocked by that "fairground friekshow" creature. It's unbelievable that a successful business on the scale of Ledos would implement such foolish business practices. My point is just that these decorations have become a distraction from your core business of selling pizza. I'm done with Ledos until these decorations are gone. I've stated my opinion and management does not care. That's fine, they have the freedom to make these decisions, this is America. And I have the freedom to buy pizza from other...
