Great experience here, the selection, the staff and atmosphere make for a very enjoyable time. There is good reason they've been voted tops sports bar. First off, the draft beer selection was one of the best I've come across. It's well thought through, going heavy on the IPAs to complement their seafood dishes, but still offering lighter and darker selections for everyone. I really appreciate they don't rely on the cheap American pilsners to carry the food. Next, the food selection was very broad, almost too much so. They offer a spread of burgers, pizzas, cheesesteaks and seafood. At first, I was a bit dismayed expecting the usual bland and unimaginative dishes. But each dish on the menu carried a theme of tastes and flavors that showed careful thought. Personally, I found the White Clams a bit on the spicy side and almost drowned in the garlicky sauce. However, the Red Mussels were phenomenal. A perfect balance, well-cooked with a flavorful tomato base. Our waitress, was attentive, friendly and well versed in the beer and food. She was able to make recommendations based on personal experience and not just regurgitate the corporate lines. The staff here are not mindless robots, but well trained, personable individuals with a good knowledge of their faires. I'm grateful to have spent some time here and looking forward to future visits.

Placed a take out order a hour and a half before closed asked for 2 orders of 12 count wings a Buffalo chicken sandwich and 2 crab fries. My fries were extremely salty and my wings were mixed together I asked for 2 separate orders considering they were for a friend and my own order which caused me a inconvenience. In addition to that we didn’t get any ranch or blue cheese with our wings. Like seriously 24 wings with no sauce. The goal was to drop my friend’s order off at her door given she has Covid but our wings being placed together made it a difficult task. Having already stopped at giant for blue cheese and ranch and now a tubberware to separate the wings. I spent more time getting extra stuff just to reassure all 3 people ate. By the time I did all of that the food was obviously cold would’ve gone back to the store if I noticed early on, didn’t notice until I got to my friend’s house. I’m completely bummed out. My boyfriend and I had take out a week ago and we’re so excited about it and wonder why he hadn’t tried it sooner but now we’re on the fence.

Food was ok… lump crab cakes sandwich made from real and not imitation crabs which how I like it. My husband had lobster rolls and was pretty good. My son had fried crab Mac n cheese, he didn’t like it. FYI seems all sandwiches didn’t come with any sides. We tried the calamari and really not what my family like.. kinda chewy and they served with marinara sauce and few of olives on top, not my thing. Our server (Courtney) tonight got into my nerves at the beginning. She asked what we would like to drink and I wasn’t sure if they have any frozen drink or milkshake so I asked her if they have daiquiri or milkshakes and the way she responds was unnecessary loud voice, not sure if she has hearing problems but she was making some kind of scene over drinks gosh.. she needs to chill. This time I didn’t had a chance to take a picture each of our dinner since we were in the middle of family conversations but I attached along our dinner bill what we ordered.

Long review below so giving bottom line - Warrington Location, Bad Mussels, Bad Manager Attitude

We have eaten many times at Chickie’s & Pete’s at several locations. Usually a really good experience and we always start out with Crab Fries and Mussels in White. Unfortunately, this time (Warrington, Tues, Jan 4) neither the food or service were up to par. Mussels in White came out smelling a little off. Several mussels were closed and many more barely opened. We placed those mussels in the discarded shell bowl and tried some of the ones that were open. They were not good. Told the waitress and her (surprisingly honest) reply was that another table also had returned their mussels. Eventually the manager did came over and I told him that they were bad. He looked at me and asked “So, you want a refund?” In a tone that was also not good. Obviously, I said “Yes.” He did remove the cost of the mussels but the experience with him also left a bad taste in my mouth.

Service was also off and slow. The waitress forgot one of the other items we ordered Meatball Parm sandwhich. We eventually got it but it was cold. I’m assuming the below par service is due to pandemic staffing issues.

This is the second time we’ve gotten bad mussels at this location. We have never gotten bad mussels at South Philly or Roosevelt Blvd locations. So, I think it is a quality control issue at the Warrington location that boggles the mind given that item is a key menu item.

One last thing and I don’t believe it is specific to this location. The receipt has a QR code to provide feedback. I tried. It does not easily allow you to provide feedback and that is why I am doing...

Went for lunch yesterday, during the second weekend of the yellow phase... slowdown of covid 19. Had outside dining, which was setup under a canopy... there were tables with benches in the sun, if preferenced. Table did not looked properly cleaned, because there were crumbs on it, and dried up ketchup. Did notice, while dining, the hostess spot clean a table, using a wet rag, between guest. Would have been nice to see the tables, AND chairs, being sprayed and properly wiped down between guest. (I have eaten at 1 other restaurant, post covid, and saw they did a much better, and thorough, job with cleanliness between guest, which is important post covid... but this seems to be a management issue...) They have QR codes on the tables, which you scan to bring up the menu. Wait staff were wearing mask and gloves, and everyone was friendly. I understand, post pandemic, there is a learning curve to prevent the spread of covid... with that being said, our waitress would clear dishes from a guest table, then place them on the tray, with items she was bringing to our table... cross contamination very likely. (I asked for a to go box, which she handed me, but had dishes from another table resting on top of my box... she handed me 2 boxes, so I used the one underneath the box that touched the dirty dishes. She was trying to multitask between guest, to save herself trips back and forth, which I get, but that practice isn't good post covid). Otherwise, my meal was good... and the experience was still pleasant. Management really needs to be more visible, in dining area, to ensure proper hygiene is being taken, and correct...

Last night, my wife and I went to the the restaurant in Warrington and arrived around 11-1130. Bar was a bit crowded so we took a seat at the side bar, where I had to walk over to the bar to order a drink.

I'm standing over at the bar and the bar tender Justin walks over, says hello asks me what want and I order a Blue moon for my self and a Grey Goose Dirty Martini for my wife. So the stupid bartender repeats the martini order 3 times with me to confirm. He walks off for 5 minutes, walks back behind the bar and pours my beer, walks past me and says he'll be right back and disappears for another 5 minutes and comes back over and tells me I appear intoxicated and that he can serve me. I replied that I haven't even had a drink yet and he tells me my eyes seam cloudy and he's not serving me.

The problem was him running all over behind the bar all COKED UP and couldn't remember the drink I ordered so he accused me of being intoxicated. They say the accuser is usually the doer

I didn't want to make a screen I been up since 630am running my business all day and was tired so I just told my wife he's not serving me that I am so called intoxicated and she was lime how we haven't even had a drink yet. I said yeah I know let's go I'll email Joe Carpinella and coming to him and then I told her who you were.

I just want to let you know that I was disappointed with my visit there last night and that bartender embarrassed me in front of other patrons and I hope you take this email serious and have a nice word with that employee.

We will also not be returning to that particular Chicky and...
