America's Best Wings - Alabama Ave SE — Restaurant in Washington

Do NOT waste your money at the Alabama Ave location. They severely lack professionalism. I placed an order on 1/29/25. I placed an order via GrubHub. It was simple: chicken wings and a large salad.

The issue: they gave my order to some other delivery driver instead of the actual delivery driver. First they were giving her a hard time by verifying if she was the actual person. Ironic.

So she called me and we BOTH confirmed to the "manager" we are who we are: the delivery driver and the person who the driver is suppose to drop the food off to.

They decided that they weren't going to remake the order. So the delivery driver contacted GrubHub customer service and they canceled the order. But I had to order the same thing from a different location and pay more than I had to the first time.

I deeply appreciate the driver for going through great lengths all because the restaurant fumbled altogether. They don't keep track of who's supposed to pickup what nor do they even bother to verify if it's accurate. They...

DO NOT DO IT💯I ordered off of Uber Eats due to not being mobile because of a car accident in which I was injured; otherwise I would have driven myself to both pick up my food and go to management and ask what's going on with this location? The food is nasty , soggy and ill prepared. The packaging was soggy and wet. I ordered the Fish and chicken combo which was over $21; they had a deal that if you ordered food over $20.. that you'd get an order of five wings that's costs $7.99 for free.. SCAM! They charged me $7.99 when my order was over $21 ..the meal not tax was over $21. Then they left out the French fries which count as the second side with the combo but had the nerve to have multiple ketchup packages in the bag..for what ? The grilled fish? The food made me so sick that I should call the health department. They stay opened until 2am..I ordered a little after midnight. Who do they have working at this location? I will never ever order...

Two words that will make absolutely make no sense to you when I say them, yet, mean everything to my taste buds: MOON DUST. Place was crazy clean, wings were certainly fresh and crispy and no greasy old oil residue like the usual wings spots. The flavor I chose was Moon Dust which is apparently crack and herion mixed up because I am hooked. It was nutty, almost cajun-y but not quite but hands down delicious! My man had the honey garlic pepper which was really great too. We ordered waffle fries with it and these fries were down right delicious. Crispy but not hard soft inside but not mushy. These people have their wings and things down to a science and I appreciate that because who doesn't love a great...
