Bin 1301 Wine Bar — Restaurant in Washington

This bar has an interesting setup. There was maybe only three tables inside due to covid and I saw at least five staff members. QR codes are given to send you to a website where you can read the menu. You're also required to order from this website. I understand this system can work well for large bars and restaurants but considering the amount of staff for few tables it may be better to have the staff waitering. It just seems silly to order off a website when there's three staff members standing so close by.

I was curious to see what the tacos were like but we had just had dinner before stopping by. A glass of wine is $12 which isn't nearly cheap enough to keep me there for another.

If I had an option for a negative I would. Looking at the previous reviews can be misleading. Yes the food is great. You just have to wait a VERY longtime to get acknowledging by the ONE waitress who is servicing the whole restaurant. There’s another person manning the bar. I’m almost certain there’s only one person in the back cooking all the food for the whole restaurant. We all didn’t get serve at one time. We got frustrated and asked for the receipt before everyone got their food. It just wasn’t worth waiting any longer for the food! All and all, I would NOT come back. There are other restaurants with good food and WAY MORE better service. The waitress was really nice. So nothing against. The business it self......

I like to support because it's black owned but the last time I went there it was maybe 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and my food was gross. My brussels had none of the toppings that were listed on the menu and instead of the bartender asking the kitchen to fix it he just said "want me to take it off". My friend ordered a panini and it was not appetizing at all. I do like that they have a band that plays but the place is so small that you cannot hear yourself over the music and enjoy the good convo. A while ago I went there for brunch and they were out of a lot of the food items too....Just go for drinks...
