Bortolami's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Washington

Ok, you will read my given opinion in regards to Roundtable pizza being the best. Well it is the best! But!!! Bortolami's Pizzeria is without a doubt in the same category you guys😋 I have been going here for twenty years🙏 I don't even know where to begin.... The menu has dwindled down some do to Covid and trust me they still serve it's justice 👌 Yes! The pizza is amazing! Sends your pellets into a skid and jump😁

The ambiance is as we call it! Tour de France👍 there are bikes and riding gear hanging on the ceiling and walls. You would never know until you walk in... Very well presented, very clean always! The leaders are so wonderful🙏 my son has for the past ten years, for his Birthday. Bortolami's still is his choice for Birthday dinner... My son: Ethan's Birthday request: *Calzone- with chz, pepperoni Xtra pepp. With red sauce on the side. Stromboli- with chz, pepp, onion, olives, mushrooms, sauce on the side. Pull apart bread, yummy😋👌👍

You can have it baked with the sauce in them, but we like dipping peice by peice in the sauce ..

As far as I know as of last month, stromboli was still not being made due to COVID-19..

Anyways, yes! There is so much to list. Pizza, salads, breadsticks, bread this and that😆 drinks from pop to beer to wine..

Children have a small playroom under the huge nice TV that plays any sport😉 actually two of them tv's.. It is just a tiny pricey, but I tell you this! So very well worth it! You have not just my word, but my entire families word as well....

I arrived here for a party that the host never told me was canceled. Not the restaurants fault but that was bad enough till I decided to order food to go because I had planned on having dinner here in the first place. There was no one at all in the restaurant when I ordered. One pizza, one order of wings, one salad. After I placed my order several more parties came in many of whom got salads within 10 to 15 minutes of their arrival. I was told it was a 30 minute wait. After 35 minutes I approached the counter and was told it would be another 10 minutes. After 15 more minutes pass I see the front counter girl with a plate of wings in her hands, delivering them to a table of customers who came in well after me. She says “we’re just waiting on your wings, as she carries wings to someone else”I walk over to the edge of the counter and someone from the kitchen says can I help you. I said yes I’ve been waiting nearly an hour for my food. She goes over to a warming unit and pulls out my pizza and wings which have been sitting there who knows how long. I love the decor and right off the bat I notice this place is cleaner than most pizza joints I visit, but this place is in a newer building so I will leave it at that. Bike theme is cool even though it isn't the type of bicycles I'm into, still cool. Ordered my 'test pizza', pepperoni, first time here so that is my go to on the first go around, it gives me an easier time comparing pizza places. I'm up to 7 different places I've tried in the area, this pie ranks well. The look of the pizza makes you want to start burning your mouth on it immediately, I waited a few minutes to dig in. First thing I notice, damn this cheese is good and plentiful, the pie is oily, oil from the cheese and pepperoni, this is typical, I love the bright orange color of oil, still a tad too much but that was about my only complaint, it happens. Good service, pie came quick but I was there at opening time so I'm assuming it's a 25 minute wait or so typically. I will be back, to sit down and enjoy, I wonder if they...
