We went on a Friday afternoon and wanted meatless offerings. We were looking forward to the egg and cheese, but when we arrived the server said that it was a breakfast item and that he didn't make breakfast items in the afternoon. That information wasn't on the menu online or the one posted above the cashier. And there was no line or other orders - he could have made an exception (if that is the policy) or explained the problem. But fine - we ordered some other items. The server, however, didn't listen carefully to our orders. One of us ordered chocolate sauce (and repeated it twice for clarity) and he put strawberry sauce on it. He didn't apologize but he did offer to re-make the dish. The customer didn't want the rest of the party to wait, since all the other items were complete. One crepe was too salty; the other one - dessert crepes - were decent. I didn't feel like the crepe itself was subtle like French crepes, which is what I expect from a place that literally only makes crepes, but hey, it is Union Station. Overpriced, mediocre food, poor service. 3-stars...

This is inside U Station, main food court, so the ambiance is what it is. But you don’t come for ambiance! Let’s talk food. First, I am a diagnosed Celiac, so gluten free is a necessity and not a preference. Crepe Lena can do pretty much every item GF in the separate DEDICATED gf kitchen area! The servers were very pleasant, very efficient. The crepes were remarkable! I had a Philly cheese steak crepe and a Nutella crepe. There have been very few times since my diagnosis a decade ago where I have closed my eyes and said “oh my god that is good!” This is one of those times. DC has a lot of great options for food, and is overall celiac friendly, but Crepe Lena is by far at the top of the list! Go to Union Station, basement food court, and...

Our favorite meal in DC. We are a little hard to please. Hubby is celiac, so GF is required. Saw reviews and decided to try this place. Ended up coming back 4 times in 4 days. Sooo good! The only problem is we are so indecisive and they have a big menu. The ingredients are all fresh and tasty and the portion sizes are great for the price. Daughter asked for crepes for every meal for the rest of the trip. Strawberry cheesecake crepe is amazing. The employees are super nice and accommodating. They even made our favorite crepe (monte cristo) for us! I would recommend sharing so you can have dessert. Eating 2 crepes is tough. (We...

Haven't had authentic crêpe's in a LONG time. Here visiting and gave Crepe Lena a try. Definitely was not disappointed. The gentleman that prepared our order was awesome! Super friendly and very helpful. We had questions, he was able to answer them, and wished us a happy New Year! He deserves a raise! I had a pepperoni pizza crêpe. Girlfriend had a Nutella, banana, and strawberry crêpe with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar on top. Definitely recommend. Will visit again if I am back in DC!

DEEEE-LICIOUS!!! On the lower level in the food court. Fast friendly service and my crepes were excellent. Definitely worth the extra time I spent trying to find it. I got one savory for breakfast and a sweet to take in the train. Both YUM. Google maps shows it in the middle of the great hall, but it's on the lower level in the food court.
