Del Taco — Restaurant in Washington

I really hope that one of these days soon I can actually write a good review about a restaurant that I've been to recently. I have come to this del Taco location many times as I deliver food and I have also eaten here before. I once again had a terrible experience as after standing in the lobby waiting for at least six to seven minutes while having multiple employees look me directly in the eye and then ignore me and go back to what they were doing without even acknowledging that I was there. I have also made sure to let the delivery applications that I work for know about the issues here and to make notes of it so that when they send other people here to pick up orders they understand why it's going to take longer even though it shouldn't.

I forgot to mention that the order I was picking up was not only ready and waiting under the heat lamp but the employee that finally came to help me couldn't find it even though I pointed it out to him.

Just went there tonight to pick up another order for DoorDash. I would suggest any Dasher or anybody thinking about getting food here just goes ahead and cancels the order and walks away. The staff was not willing to make an order that I had the information for because according to them it was not showing on their screen. I even showed them the screen from DoorDash that showed that doordash would make sure they got paid they did not care. Not only did they cost me money but they also proved that once again this location is staffed by people that should all be fired...

If I could rate a zero I would. I've never seen poorer management and customer service in my life. 3 out of 5x of my orders are incorrect, cold, or poorly made. I specifically come for the Beyond Guacamole tacos because of a meat and dairy allergy. After receiving poor service on multiple occasions through the drive through trying to correct my order I decided to go inside to place my complaint. Boy was that a joke. The "manager" told me the following: They don't care about or focus on the Beyond meat/ health side of the menu and that they only focus on the rest of the products with meat and cheese. If my order is always wrong why do I come back/ suggests I should stop coming to the restaurant and finally blames it on the "teenagers" cooking the food and that they aren't capable of correctly making the orders. I said that I should be able to modify any item on the menu and expect it to come out right. I mentioned if someone came in there with a food allergy they could have harmed that person. (I realize that risk with food contamination food allergies but everyone is entitled to their own lives and allergies effect different people in different ways..) just shrugged and said they shouldnt eat there.. Extremely rude, horrendous customer service and management skills. I suggest Del Taco evaluate their staff at this location I guarantee they are losing money and valuable customers like myself. I will absolutely not...

I've tried 4 times now. NEVER again!

I'm from Southern California, home of Del Taco. I used to frequent the Federal Way location when I worked out that way. Went to the Puyallup location (now closed). They were always good. This one opened, and my family was excited. 3 times in the first couple of years, all horrible food with not so good service. Tried it again today on a whim. They are consistent! Only cars in the lot are employees. One car ahead of me in the drive thru. I ordered 2 meals, 2 bean and cheese burritos, and a cheddar quesadilla. I get my drinks right after paying. Two diet Cokes, and it tastes like a mix of several syrups with a weird chemical-like back taste. a few minutes later, we're asked to pull around to the front because "we're waiting on fries." I asked if they could make them extra crispy (consistently undercooked before). No problem. About 4 minutes later, the food is brought out. We were asked what sauces we wanted at the window, no sauces in the bag. My wife pulls the bean and cheese burritos out as she verifies all other items are there. I ask if she ordered taquitos. World's smallest fast food burritos from the home of the "1/2 pound" burrito?? French fries are UNDERcooked again, even after waiting and asking for extra crispy. Took 4 minutes in the air fryer at home to get them right. It's definitely an embarrassment...
