Pho Mania — Restaurant in Washington

I may be different than most when it comes to these types of eateries. I usually get take out rather than dine-in. I have eaten here twice. Once for some spring rolls for a late night snack and the other was for some Pho for my wife and I. 3 stars overall for my impressions and experiences. Here's why: The guy who runs the place is really nice albeit reserved which for a restaurant I'd not the ideal personality. Both times I have called on my orders he has answered. He is difficult to understand and doesn't carry a conversation as you might expect. It is short, to the point with no extras but leaves you wondering if he got the order correct. The spring rolls I had here were mediocre. I have had much better at many places. 2 stars for those. The Pho was decent. Lots of condiments though some of them baffled me. There was a cup of hot chili sauce and a whole bunch of sliced jalapeños though we did not order our to be spicy. Just a plain beef pho. It also came with what seemed like a pound of sprouts and only a tiny bit of beef. Overall, 3 stars for the pho.

I might come here again. They are open to 10 when many others in the area are closed by 8 pm. That gives some of us late-nighters another alternative to fast food.

Give it a try but in my opinion...

My family and I have been coming here for YEARS! This place is hands down the BEST pho around! We come here a lot and never have we ever had one complaint. My daughter loves it and has been eating at this place since the womb and she is now 2 and always asking to come here ☺️. The place is always clean, the staff and owner are amazing and sweetest people who work hard and are always on top of it, the pho broth is the BEST I’ve ever had and all of the food is always amazing and the portions are incredible! This place is not at all over priced and you get a lot for what you pay for and it’s always super good! If I could give this place a hundred stars I would! They definitely need to be in one of those “top places to eat” articles. We recently tried the Snow chicken and we were lost for words, the Best KFC (Korean fried chicken) IMO. Stop thinking about it and just get up and go and get some bangin food from...

The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is nice. Vegan pho left a bit to be desired, unfortunately. me and my girlfriend got dinner here and we each got a vegan pho, we have been here a few times and once they didn't even give us tofu so we each had to order a side of it and it took quite awhile to finish being made, everyone at the table had finished by the time our food came out. This time I made sure to ask if tofu was included and they confirmed it was, meaning they forgot it last time and still let us pay for the extra. When our food arrived this time, after making sure it would have tofu, we were disappointed to notice that we each got only 4 small pieces, so we each ordered a side of it again, I don't think we'll come back again...
