My order was delivered so can't comment on the atmosphere. But I "can" comment about the seasoned food and the exquisite, customer service I received! I ordered a BBQ Spud (called a 'Baker' here at Dickey's) to see if it tastes even close to my "back home" spud in DFW, along with seasoned green beans. The green beans were good and flavorful! The spud order was not correct at all. But here's the BEST part: I called the Everett Dickey's asking for a manager immediately, and got REGGIE. He was very empathetic, and clearly wanted to make sure my next "Baker" order was right this time, so he made my order himself---along with including a complimentary larger order of green beans, and chicken (at no charge) to this order. I know people have commented about how the charges are extremely costly, but I will pay and provide Great reviews for 'HANDS-DOWN' superb, customer service. It's exactly what REGGIE provided, and what I needed: I was ill and hadn't eaten all day, (at now, 7p) which was why I didn't pick up my first order to begin with. REGGIE even called me to make sure my order was completed to my liking, all items were included, and had already been delivered! And for that REGGIE, you are a 'class act' in the customer service arena! People don't get this type of 'customer-service done right,' from many food establishments nowadays, and I personally want You to know how much I appreciated it, and your integrity of doing business the Right way! Keep doing what You're doing. You're a '⭐' because of it! PS: The stuffed pulled pork, chicken "Baker" was so filling and delicious!😋 Ambyr

Fry Me to the Moon because this location serves Seattle’s Spud Supreme! From baked potato casserole, loaded baked potato to farm to fryer french fries! In the bustling heart of the Pacific Northwest, where coffee is king and rain reigns supreme, one humble side dish is quietly stealing the spotlight and it’s coming in hot from the Dickey’s BBQ. It all begins with fresh, local potatoes, born from local farms’ fertile soil and destined for greatness. These aren’t your average spuds. No, these are future legends, sliced with care and baked or fried with flair until they reach golden, crispy perfection. Each fry is a love letter to crunch, a sonnet of salt and satisfaction. But what truly elevates these golden batons from simple to sublime is their freshness swagger. Kissed by the essence of freshness and served with a wink of Southern soul, these fries know how to walk the fine line between comfort food and culinary art. Forget truffle oil and aioli theatrics, Dickey’s fries don’t need a gimmick. They’ve got that classic, no-nonsense charm that keeps you reaching back for more, even when your plate is supposed to be about the brisket. So if you find yourself in Everett/Seattle area, craving a crispy companion to your ribs or just a shoulder to lean on, look no further. At Dickey’s, the fries don’t play second fiddle. They’re front and center, golden and glorious, fried and true.

Spent a few min looking at the (broken) drive up menu, decided on picnic meal. Guy said it came with three sides so we picked three. Asked if we could split the meat into two half pounds and he had to ask another worker who said we could do two 1/2lb meals or whatever. Guy said okay now it's 4 sides so we wanted double beans. Only received two sides. They forgot the BBQ sauce we ordered. Made it way too confusing, guy at the window kept walking away to ask someone else about stuff and didn't give us one of the sides we wanted plus we only got two "rolls" which are like oatmeal muffins or something? This was like $50. Get a regional manager down here to put your people in check, worse than most fast food places and this is supposed to be a step above.

I'll start by saying I really like Dickey's and being from Houston, TX, it's the closest to good BBQ I know of here in the Seattle area in the year and a half my girlfriend and I have been here. We have been to this location a few times, and the food is typically pretty good. The thing(s) that were not good were:

In the middle of giving our order, (I assume) the manager interrupted by asking about meats that were in the oven and the female employee dressed fairly unprofessional (wearing a single-strap top with the top padding sticking out, gym shorts and open-toed shoes) giving short answers with attitude like she had no respect for him and hated that she had to actually talk to him. This was likely from the condescending way in which he spoke to the other employees. as I'm looking back and forth from the manager to the employee and smiling, wondering if they care about customers at all, the manager makes eye contact and putting his attention back to continuing the argument. After they were done, there was silence, and I had to bring the other employee back into our conversation about what sides we were going to choose. Which we had to state several times before they understood due to everyone being distracted or hating their job.

As we're waiting for our food, I got the BBQ sauces and put them on the table before going back to get and pay for the food. The manager rang up 2 combo meals, but wasn't aware I was also getting another sandwich, so I informed him to add the sandwich to pay for everything. He then went on to correct another employee that he needs to be shouting out the order as they receive it so he knows what he needs to ring up. He then volunteered to bring one of the 3 trays out to the table, which was nice, but then the sauces were gone from the table, and one of the other employees was cleaning it. Simple mistake that the employee threw them away, though it was weird that someone would see untouched, full sauces sitting on a table and think they were trash, but as I went to get more sauces the manager acknowledged the employee threw them away and mocked me by saying "Oh he threw them away. He was really proud of this those sauces and name threw them away." which made it even more awkward to sit there and eat.

As we're sitting in the awkward atmosphere, the manager then goes on to tell the employees about how they should never use the cold water and how cold water doesn't exist. They shouldn't even think of cold water because there's only hot water. This went on for at least 5 minutes. He also let out a couple of curse words, which I use plenty myself, but not with customers or clients around because it's unprofessional.

We ate as quickly as we could and left. On our way out, the employees were nice about saying, "Have a good night!", which is always nice, but they were laughing after we were out, which may or may not have been about us. So all-in-all a below average experience to say the least. There are only 2 Dickey's locations, and we will not be coming back to this one. It's only a couple of minutes longer to Marysville from us, and the team there seems to like each other enough to put the customer first and not be...

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have tried many types of bbq in my life especially Texas BBQ, and have been craving it and heard of this place. I was excited to try good bbq for a decent price. I ordered the 2 for $25 deal which had brisket, pork ribs, sausage, and pulled pork and also a one meat plate with chicken breast. For sides I got baked potato casserole, bacon and onion green beans, 2 Mac and cheeses, jalapeño beans and fried okra. The Mac and cheese taste exactly like velveeta Mac and cheese. I was expecting it to be homemade based on price and portion. The fried okra tasted like dirty fry oil. The green beans were good and had a nice seasoning however there was no onion or bacon anywhere in the container, Little confused on how it’s bacon and onion. The jalapeño beans were good and probably my favorite part of the entire meal, which for a bbq place is shocking. The baked potato casserole is just loaded mash but also it was good. The pork ribs were the most disappointing, tough piece of meat. I could make better ribs in a oven. The pulled pork was good, had a nice Smokey flavor. The chicken was alright now the food personally had me feeling like 2 stars. But the service is what made this whole thing disappointing. I was missing 2 out of 4 bbq sauces. I didn’t get the pickles and onions I asked for either. And when I called to let them know. I simply got a “sorry we try to double check your order next time” and I was denied being able to go in to pick up the missing items because they were closing in 25 mins. Terrible experience and I will be calling the manager tomorrow. And I want it to be known that I don’t write reviews normally. I understand restaurants have bad days or mess ups. I worked in the front of house and back of house. But these other reviews...

This is the first review I’ve ever left for this company. I’m extremely upset. I order food from here all the time on Uber eats fortunately they do not deliver. Therefore, I do it on Uber eats I make an order and my Uber eats guy shows up to the place at 8:45 PM. They close at nine and then I get my order canceled. I do not believe this is due to the Uber eats carrier for I am leaving him a very nice tip to bring me my Food. I believe this is a scenario of where they want to shut everything down and have the place cleaned and therefore versus prioritizing Durham person who is making an order they decide to cancel the order on their own. They wait for the Uber. Eats guy to get there and then tell them. Oh sorry we are closed, even though they are not if this is a case Then they should just simply pull their deliveries down an hour prior to closing now I’ve been charged on my account for $50, which is not a big deal, but this is a common scenario with these guys as much as I love their food. I’m extremely upset with their poor service when I try to call them because it’s close to closing they don’t answer. Sure wish I could do that. At my place of work they should reconsider the way they operate things because they lose a lot of business Dickie’s barbecue thank you for all your great services, but I probably will never order from you again along as telling all my friends how terrible the services I don’t want anything for free just so you know I make more than enough money to provide for myself and my family. However, your services have been terrible even though your quality of food is extremely great Thanks and have a great night and thank you for your great experience. Thanks and have a good night and thank you for a...
