Fitzgerald's is recently opened cocktail-centric bar and restaurant in Georgetown. The restaurant was decorated with football prints and other sports memorabilia. When we booked a table for 8, they gave us two tables of four in a private area. The seating was nice and lounge-like and the service was excellent. Definitely did not like the service which entailed a waitress that clearly had better things to do than wait on customers, and we felt that vibe from the beginning.
We sampled a few cocktails and they were the best part of the mail, demonstrating why they consider themselves a bar-centric restaurant. The Blood & Sand was a bit sweet but otherwise quite good. They make a great Manhattan as well.
As for the food, all pretty solid but just nothing to memorable. The burger is solid, the chicken sandwich could have used something to differentiate itself a bit, and the short rib was tender if not particularly bursting with flavor. The Korean chicken wings were delicious, as were their...
