Gordon, please come & do an episode of Kitchen Nightmares at your own restaurant. Server clueless, manager useless. 2.5hr is not worth the wait for burgers. We assumed because of the namesake there would have been some type of standard & expectations but I guess not. So many issues from the start 6:40p Upon arriving the server throws her manager under the bus saying he gave away our table. It was fine because it wasn't packed & we got another table right away. We were 10min late to our reservation, understandable that our table wasn't on hold but the comment that she made to pass blame was unnecessary.. There is only a drink menu & QR code to view/split/pay the bill on the table. She got our drink orders first. She comes back in 15min, "are we ready to order?" There were no menus provided...Should have given us that when we first sat down. 6:51p we finally get the menus. My 2 young nieces shared a cheese fries chicken dish. The rest of us ordered burgers & milkshakes. 2 oreo milkshakes & 2 toffee milkshakes. 1 of each was brought out. When my cousin asked about his, the server responded with "did you order a milkshake too?" Yes, he did, that's why he's asking for it. Just go get it. The girls’ fries dish came out first. 3 of us ordered the Hell's Kitchen burger. Yet only 2 were brought out along with 3 other burgers. So there were 2/6 of us are waiting for our food. 15min go by, the parties that received their burger & fries are also waiting until everyone gets their food. No one checks up on us regarding why 2 of us have an empty spot in front of us and why we aren’t eating. 7:27p (We have been there for 40min at this point. Burgers should not take this long let alone smash burgers) I told the ones that received their food to just eat since their burgers were getting cold, they continued to wait so we could can all eat together. Our server was MIA & the manager was nearby as we were sitting underneath the POS platform, so they all had a clear view of our table. The manager comes & says that our server dropped the ball and he will be taking over the care of our order. Runs to the kitchen area to "check on our order", comes back a few seconds later to ask what we are waiting on...Already a sign that we were not in good hands... By this time the girls finished their fries, that's how much time that went by. He could tell that we were all displeased & said that he will offer us a discount to make our experience better (too late for that). 7:48p we hear another angry customer yell at the staff because they have been waiting for so long & their child was hungry. Another table of 2 received their burgers while we are still waiting... again one of us ordered the same exact burger that had already arrived at our table. When all the burgers finally came, 4/6 burgers got cold and everyone's experience was awful. I asked for an order of the toffee waffle to be made now to save time. The manager asked if we needed more water. All cups are empty & the bottle. Just go get the water. Be thoughtful especially as a manager. 8pm (We have been here since 6:40p!) Our convention ends at 9pm & it's late for the girls. We did not think it would take this long. Even one of our friends at the convention called us asking if we were alright as we were away for so long. When the waffle finally came, I asked him to kindly pack it up as we needed to go. He replied with "I brought it out as soon as it was done" OK? Please pack it up like I requested! I would have already settled up & left but the discount was not applied yet. The bill came out with no discount but he said he took off 5 items. THERE WERE 7 OF US THAT ALL HAD HORRIBLE SERVICE & EXPERIENCE. Of course items would be comp'd but we expected a discount APPLIED to everyone/the whole table because that it's fair & what he originally offered. He said didn't know what everyone ordered. With the discount the bill came back ~$35 less. Not only did he waste my time, he argued with me but also went back on his word to "make things better" & his promise for a discount.

I'm reading some of the recent reviews and am a bit confused and disappointed. I'm seeing one star reviews followed by "great food" but complaints about the use of ketchup packets, waiters forgetting things and the table being too small...for 2 people. People, use better discretion. This is a new spot, and any new restaurant - even for Gordon Ramsay - is going to experience some growing pains. Let's point out the mistakes without trying to tank it.Is it perfect? No. But the food is fantastic; the servers are nice; and the atmosphere is fun. I ordered the backyard burger with fries, and altogether, we had three different burgers at the table. We also ordered wings with mambo sauce. IMO, it was one of the better burgers I've had in DC. I would caution folks that the OG special sauce on this burger has a strong, unexpected mustard flavor. I was fine with it but would have preferred a different sauce - or perhaps the menu could do a better job of describing it. I could have also simply asked. 😇 Either way, it was really tasty - just pointing it out because most "special sauces" on burgers tend to favor the Big Mac or In-n-out double-double special sauces - this one does not. The wings were tasty...and tiny. Lol. They were def amongst the smallest wings I've ever eaten...but cooked well and delish. What can I say - I'm a sucker for DC mambo sauce! The fries were average. Somewhere on the menu I saw mention of these being shoestring fries - they are not. They're a bit thicker, and in my opinion, too thick. The sweet potato fries looked much better. And people, my goodness, they have fixed the ketchup packet issue! We received full sides of ketchup, so calm yourselves! 🤦‍♂️ I found the price to be a bit over the top for what we got: 3 burgers and fries, one side of 6 wings and zero drinks or desserts: over $80 including tax and tip. Not terrible if we had been eating at a place like Le Dip, but certainly more than I would have expected from a very casual fare spot. The food came out hot, fresh and on time. The wings came out with sesame seeds even though someone at the table had a stated sesame seed allergy - that's a big no-no. But once that was pointed out, the staff was super apologetic and fixed it immediately by bringing a new order. Last, there's a free pool table in the back along with some fun games. I thought that was a cool addition to the restaurant. So, yeah, a mixed bag. But let's be fair to restaurants that are trying to do the right thing. Point out the issues and help them get better. This one has plenty of potential, and I look forward to trying it again down the line.

I was in DC for the weekend and wanted to try out new restaurants and I found this place for a quick lunch while walking around town. I only found out this is a new place after reading other reviews that it only opened a month ago. Anyway this place have both pizza and burger but when you are seated they will want to know what you are planning to eat, however I have see other people eating both burger and pizza just fine. We were seated on the main floor so I can't tell you what the lower level was like, but the lower level was supposedly for burger and main for pizza We only waited about 5-7 min for a server to come over to take our order, we ordered drinks, wings, and a few burgers that come with fries. It took about 8min for the wings to come out. The wings were fresh, I did get the sauce on the size, I got bbq and sweet chili kimchi, the sweet chili kimchi sauce is amazing. We ordered Idiot, Mushroom, and next level smash burger. It took about 15min or so to come out. The all the burger looks very fresh, tender and juicy, and the fries are fresh and with good amount of salt. My idiot burger comes with beef rib in it, there were 2 piece, one was fine but the other one was just fat and chewy, however that did not stop me from eating the rest of the burger because the double patties were fresh and juicy, just the right amount of meat on it. It also have these little crispy onion on them, I did not have cheese on it. My wife and daughter had the mushroom and next level burger and they said it was delicious. After we finished the burger, another server came over and ask if we wanted the waffle because they had an extra and it was on the house and we said ok, so this was a very nice bonus. We were already very full, this was an excellent service. Inside the restaurant it is clean, bright, and have many space and seat. The price for the food is reasonable, I have no idea what the other people are complaining about that the price is high and the food is no good, if you want to eat cheap burger then go to McDonald, this place have the Gordon Ramsey name on it and you would expect to pay a little more. Don't come and complain if you can't afford it. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch, next time I might try to pizza and they looked pretty good from what I seem.

I found the price to be a bit over the top for what we got: 3 burgers and fries, one side of 6 wings and zero drinks or desserts: over $80 including tax and tip.

This one has plenty of potential, and I look forward to trying it again...

We were seated on the main floor so I can't tell you what the lower level was like, but the lower level was supposedly for burger and main for pizza

We only waited about 5-7 min for a server to come over to take our order, we ordered drinks, wings, and a few burgers that come with fries.

I would recommend this place for a quick lunch, next time I might try to pizza and they looked pretty good from...
