TL;DR The food here is amazing, affordable, portions are generous, the owner is a sweetheart, and this is a local gem that needs your help. Please give them your business.

This place is exceptional. We've been looking for a good sandwich place close enough to our apartment that isn't a Subway or a Potbelly. Paramount blows everyone out of the water. I'm from the Philly area and food, sandwiches, are a big deal to me. I've never had a genuinely delicious sandwich since moving here, until now. The owner is a delight, grateful for every customer, and it was a pleasure getting to meet her.

But not only does this place deserve your generosity, it also needs it. A local sandwich joint run by one woman who has been taking care of it herself since COVID hit small businesses hard. Crystal City and all of Arlington have been quickly losing these cozy gems. The ceaseless construction that makes it impossible to get anywhere has nearly blocked this place off to any traffic. I had to get the construction crew's permission to get in and out of this parking lot.

If you're reading this, you know for a fact that wouldn't fly if they screwed over any of the big names on Crystal Drive. Paramount doesn't deserve that, and Ms. Kim, the owner, doesn't deserve that. If you're looking for a good lunch place and have a moment for the wait--again, ONE WOMAN is running the show here--please give this place a chance. It has soul and it has love, two things you can't find a lot of around here. AND THE PORTIONS ARE BIG! If you need another reason to do it, that's it. Good food, big portions....

HIDDEN GEM! WOW! The wind literally blewe right threw the doors of Paramount Cafe. Upon entering my senses were in absolute delight! This place smelled was delicious 😋! Like a grammas house. Today was a day that I needed comfort, Like soul food comfort. Ms. Kim greeted me Soo warmly she was smiling and asked me how she could serve me? I was thrilled to try something new. She recommended the club focaccia and boy oh boy was it divine. The toasted rosemary Herb focaccia and the roasted turkey,ham and top notch bacon🥓. I made some great connections Collen, John and Ms Kim. There's even a small store in the back with all of your everyday needs. But if you are looking for a small home away from home. This. Is. IT! You will leave on a high vibration ready to take the day by storm. The proof is in the FOOD! BEST SANDWICH/SUB IN ARLINGTON !

The menu had every possible sandwich you could think of. We got the mozzarella pesto and the one shown in photos. They were tasty, wholesome and freshly made while waiting. She also had an abundance of toiletries and stuff like feminine products, gift bags, international snacks and more. Her genuine demeanor was so very much appreciated. I definitely had a pleasant experience with this establishment and the service was great. The only thing I recommend is a clear indication of where it’s located. While using google maps it proceeded to take me past the building and then I saw a white sign on the ground behind a bush.
