First off, Quiznos is nostalgic to me, and say what you want about their advertising, but the rat thing is hilarious!
Now on to the food…
Sandwich portions were fine, and I ordered the chicken carbonara for reference. I was asked if mushrooms were ok, and I agreed. From there, the only conversation was, “your order is ready!”
A couple of things caught my attention. First- I was not offered any lettuce, onion, etc… I found this to be odd. Secondly- I have reason to believe these subs are premade and placed in the toaster. I can’t confirm because they have blocked the sandwich line with signs and other obstructions. (This is just an observation.) Third- half of my sandwich had cold chicken on it. I ate the other half right after ordering in my car for clarity. This gives credit to my second point. I plan to take the sub home an re heat it and add some much needed “toppings”.
While I will most likely come back and try another sub now knowing what I know from this first experience. I’m always one to support small business and like to give honest feedback, so please take this review as a guide to your...
Read moreI really wanted to sit down and enjoy a Quiznos sandwich tonight, so I drove 20 minutes out of my way to Quiznos for a sandwich.
This place has more hanging plastic than a Ukrainian biolab. I can't tell if the owner is afraid of the customers or of the customers should be afraid of the owner.
Anyway I place my order and I'm asked if I know I can't eat it there because it's past dine-in hours. It's 6:40 PM. It's not even past dinner time. I just wanted a Quiznos sandwich and to eat it in peace. I would have preferred a fountain soda but that's not an option here either.
So I didn't get my Quiznos sandwich because I can't bring myself to pay $20 for a sandwich, chips and drink only to sit in my car and eat it.
I've never seen this store so busy that it seems like business is so good they can chase away customers, but I'm not really a restaurant guy, so what do I know.
As a customer, I do know that there are plenty of sandwich options that allow you to sit and enjoy your purchase at 6:40 PM with a fountain soda. Usually for less than $20...
Read moreThe past three times in a row my family and I have gone into this location, they incorrectly made our orders. The head manager (or possibly the new owner) is always in such a rush that she rarely listens to what we are asking for and ultimately makes the sandwiches wrong, even if they are printed correctly on the receipts. This last experience was the worst out of the three times I have been in since under new ownership as I was told that it was ME who was wrong and they were going to charge me again if I came in for the replacement/correction order I requested. This used to be one of our favorite little sandwich shops... but at least there are plenty of other places around this area that will appreciate my business as this Quiznos has lost ours...
