Subway — Restaurant in Washington

I love coming here. I have been coming to this location for years now and the customer service, the food quality and the sandwiches have been a delight. The people working here are polite, kind and attentive to your needs. Sure, they have been short staffed at times, but which establishment isn't? Why do we make such a huge deal of waiting an extra 10 minutes at Subway, but don't mind the wait at Olive Garden or any other restaurant. At the end of the day, the goal is to enjoy a good meal no matter what it is - an easy sandwich or a dine in or even take out. Anyway, the food is great, I know by talking to the people who work here that they use fresh ingredients and do their absolute best to deliver a delicious, well made sandwich. I'm giving a five-star review for the man that worked yesterday June 26th 2022. His name was Travis. He was in there making sandwiches for multiple amounts of people by himself AND orders from online. His counterpart called out. That person should also be fired because we all know they weren't exactly sick but because they wanted to enjoy the 90° plus weather outside. Travis deserves a raise and a promotion. He's the one getting the 5 stars and not this Subway location. As someone who wants to own a company in the future I find it very appalling that the manager didn't come in to help. It was the lunch rush time and they had 1 person working. Then a second one arrived, a younger employee. The Indian woman that was already working was great! She was fast, worked hard, and was doing fine. The younger employee was completely useless. I’ve never seen someone take a full 60 seconds to cut a flat bread sandwich in half. She was so slow I almost couldn’t keep myself from speaking up. She didn’t know where anything was at, and moved so slow I wanted to die.
