I showed up at this place to use the restroom and possibly get a salad for lunch. I walked into the restaurant and the manager asked me if “I was going to buy anything”. I responded “I need to use the restroom first but yes“ I finished up in the restroom and realized I did not have a form of payment on my person. I proceeded to walk out the door to pull my debit card out of my car so I could pay for my salad and the manager yells out “I thought you were going to buy something“. I instantly went from 0 to 100. That was so unprofessional! I proceeded out the door grabbed my Card and came back into the store. I began to inform her how I didn’t appreciate her attitude and how unprofessional she was being towards me. She then said to me if I was going to talk to her like that I needed to leave the store”. This woman had such an attitude with me before I even opened my mouth when I walked into the door to begin with! This is in fact the second time she has given me power trip attitude. Read moreSubway used to be my favorite hoagie shop. I had patronized the business beginning in south carolina for well over 35 years. I had not been there since since pre pandemic. The italian BMT was my regular fav. The sandwich that I took home after waiting twenty minutes in the drive through to receive was unrecognizable from any sandwich I had ever purchased. The bun alone was like an oversized hot dog bun instead of a fresh baked italian hoagie roll. I asked for spinach instead of lettuce and I got exactly two and a half remenants of baby pieces. In exactly ten minutes from there to home the sandwich was so soggy I ended up toasting it under the broiler to try to dry it out some. I've never had them toasted as I prefer them fresh. Ingredients were overly skimped on. Down to five slices of black olives on the entire sandwich. My curiosity has been satisfied. I will never return. Read moreDrive thru is NEVER open. I pulled in at 7 mins to 9 to be told they were closed already...I thought they were open till 9 but I guess they close earlier now???? I'm very disappointed with the subway on Jefferson Avenue anymore. When I went inside a week ago there was one person in front of me but it still took almost 8 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me...not even a "we'll be right with you" the young man that finally waited on me seemed really flustered he said "we're short staffed" I understand being short staffed, I deal with that everyday where I work, but I find a way to take care of the customers. They need a very experienced manager to run that place before it gets shut down. I run a very busy store/cafe (the 4th busiest out of over 4,000 stores) the company owns so I know all about being short staffed, but it's time for them to get new people in there...please!!!!!!
