Learn moreI saw the good reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Seoul and a water for takeout. My order came to over $18 which is quite pricey for a sandwich. After waiting about 15 minutes I went to check on my order. For some reason I wasn’t provided an order number. The place seemed to be short staffed and they were busy. Anywho, about the sandwich…it was large enough for two meals. Taste was unique but it didn’t knock my socks off. I was expecting small pieces of chopped tender beef typical of bulgogi, but received large pieces of chewy steak. The sauce was a mix of mayo and something red siracha, perhaps. Read moreSUNdeVICH is definitely one of the best sandwich joints in DC. But a better sandwich joint with international flavors...there is none. The staff is always on point with their service and time to complete your order. The locstions are always clean and welcoming. The menu is comprised of sandwiches with origins of international capitals. When you visit SUNdeVICH do not leave without trying one of the following. The Havana which is their take on a Cuban, the Seoul which has absolutely delicious Korean flavors and bbq meat, and the Kingston made with great pulled jerk chicken. The rolls for all the sandwiches do a great job holding up to all the meats and condiments for each sandwich. Make sure to stop in and satisfy that need for...

The service when I went was really slow, especially for a lunch sandwich place. It could have just been a bad day, I know a lot of places have been having trouble keeping staff. The food was good but not good enough to really offset the issues. I'd recommend it but...
