I purchased a brother's sewing machine that was in stock at the Mechanicsville, Virginia location of Walmart. I picked it up and after about two weeks the machine began to malfunction. I tried everything I was instructed to do, but it would not work. I ruined several pieces of clothing at the tune of $327 there about in clothing. I was truly upset. Calling the store, over 17 times on this day, and no one answered in any department. It rang and rang. So I called Walmart Corporate to make a complaint. They even tried the number and got no answer. I was told it would not be tolerated and to expect a call soon. Never got this call nor did corporate call me back as well. So I waited a few more weeks, nothing, so i did the same routing, call the local store first, no answer again. Called corporate and received same answer as time before. And I got nothing again. So few more weeks I wait patiently. Same routine again, this time when I called corporate, it was even worse. The customer complaint dept, was not helpful, but full of suggestions that were not fair after all that had happened, and they could not help me further. I kept asking for a supervisor and was told she could not take my call. I went online and mad a review, honest one, it wasn't good. Next day a gentleman Calles me says he is with Mechanicsville store and has refunded my money and no need to return machine. After 3 days, no money is in my account, so I call him again, he said he was not at his store, and he would check on it and call me back. That was two days ago, Today being 5/20/23. NO MONEY, still a BROKEN Machine!! What the H is Walmart's problem. OH, I know, if you are not a doner to their political party and quote I read this online, so I am not making this up. No donation they don't care about your problems with them or their stores.

I will NEVER BUY FROM WALMART ONLINE ESPECIALLY AGAIN. MY next step is to call all the local TV stations to see if they can help me get my money back! I have a sneaky suspension, it may work the same as Walmart, with Politics playing a part. I hope I am wrong.

Sad our Country has...

1/16/2024 Update Thank you to Kell P @ Google Support for helping to resolve the Google Map updating challenge cited below. Manoukian Rugs

1/9/2024 - Original Post The service is remarkably poor from Google, specifically Google Business Profile Support. The nearest office Google Office to us is their Google WDC branch (likely policy and legislative affairs focused), but we will leave similar feedback in both their "help" areas and in their Maps Review area in the hopes of actually achieving a respectable level of support so as to resolve the address change glitch we are suffering.

We moved our physical store 4.5 miles (7.2km) within Arlington County VA. This is within the Washington DC Metro area USA. The address change is not geographically impactful on our 20 listed service areas in our Google Maps listing, so we dd not alter these.

However for some reason, per the reply from Google's support team, the Google system thinks we did. For this reason, we presently can not pass the re-verified process. Nor can we seem to get any resolution from circular and unhelpful emails with Poomima or supervisor Iliyas at Google Business Profile Support. Irregardless of all the supporting data and evidence we email them they can only happily repeat and copy and paste the same response stating that we changed our service area (we assume this is the result of the very short move). Nor can they seem as of yet to proffer another solution other than by circular emails.

We are now requesting re-verification by postcard sent USPS to our new address because while US Mail be a bit slower than speed of light emails at least it has the potential to not be filtered by a less than competent "bot-like" response.

Here is to someone within the Help system or even the Google's WDC office reading this and taking a modicum of interest.

For the simple fact you make it so easy and have no true system in place to stop it from happening. This is why you can take this 1 star review. The issue I speak about is in a couple of hours I can have 100 google accounts already to go and leave 100 different reviews. The failure on oversight to this isuue can be some what compared to voting fruad. So with my now 100 accounts I can go attack my competitors business over the course of a couple of months with 1 star reviews. In the hopes of gaining more business. When this occurs and is point out google fails to respond and take action. That’s why you platform for reviews are a joke to me. However to a lot of sheep out there it means the world to them. Yet you know of the problem, fail to correct this problem. Then tell us the users to trust us at google we know a thing or two because we have seen a thing or two. Well looks like no one at hood is a Superman’s fan, so I’ll tell you the line with great power comes greater responsibility. It’s your responsibility to stop and prevent systemic reviews and limit people to their one or two account reviews. Shame on you because failing to act on an issue when known of a set issue. Is the same thing and condoning the behavior. Plus you made it somewhat difficult to find a place to leave my 1 star review on your platform. When you talk about we encourage bad reviews. Yet you Dont make it easy to find a place to review google on google. Now, if my review violates your terms and conditions or guidelines of reviews and it is striking down, I’ll be back to edit, fix and fully verify that I am well within the review policy of Google to keep my one star review up. Since you encourage bad reviews. here’s a bad one for you thank you much. Have...

Seriously disappointed with how Google and phone manufacturers handle updates and pre-installed apps. I paid for my phone — I should have full control over what’s on it. Instead, I’m forced to keep apps I never use, can’t disable or delete, and We never asked for. Google updates keep getting pushed whether I want them or not, and some of these apps even take over my homepage without permission. Nobody wants something permanently stuck on their phone that they can’t remove. It feels like I’m renting my own device instead of owning it. If I’m the one paying the bill every month, why should Google — or anyone — control what’s on my phone? Users deserve more control, not less. Stop forcing features and apps we can’t remove. Give us the freedom to decide what we want on the devices we paid for.

Love this place. It’s a private office so you would only come if invited. Parking is on the street if you can find it or on Massachusetts parking deck underneath the building. It’s a bit pricey. $14 for an hour or $22 for up to 24 hours. This office is located on the 9th floor. Looking for food? There are plenty of food trucks across the street during lunch hours - approx 11am - 3pm.

Beautiful office space with nice amenities. They pull strongly from DC culture and show their city pride. Some really unique workspaces and incredible food. Looking forward to my next trip back!
