We were at DC for the Thanksgiving break and stayed at the Marriott Crystal city hotel. I did my research before the trip and was eager to give this restaurant a try. I must said this place is beyond my expectation. The place is small and only have about three seats in front of the sushi bar. We ordered few things for to go to have our dinner at our hotel room. The quality and freshness of the food were very good. The Manu is not big, but it has most of the essential items you will see in most of Japanese restaurants. Do not surprised that the owner does not look like a Japanese. He definitely knows his sushi and I can see and taste the real Japanese taste in his food. If we visit the DC again, we will definitely go back to this restaurant again. Highly recommend this place.

This place is okay it does put you in the mindset of feudal times where you have like a little tea shop off to the side where you could get ramen noodles sushi good tea That's what reminds me of. The location in my opinion is not that great it's underground. We drove around and around we use our GPS will use our phone we cannot find this place finally we called and they explained they were underground but even still if you're new to the area it is hard to locate. It is ran by Latino people know Asians of any kind but it's okay the food was decent not the best sushi in the world if you're hungry you're eat it. But you cannot compare to other sushi places. Price was decent no drink. This place is more of a grab-and-go not necessarily sit down and eat

We found a treasure in the tunnel! At first glance, this little eatery may not catch your eye. But once you taste the master craftsmanship of the sushi chef's work, you will be very pleasantly surprised. The bento box, sashimi, and rolls were so good. We enjoyed both the cooked and fresh fish as well as non-fish dishes. This experience made our night. The chef was an absolute delight. We chatted with him a bit while we waited. If we are ever in DC and stay at the Marriott again, we know where to go. Thank you for making a weekend stay worth it!

Sushi Garden is a counter-style sushi restaurant located in the underground mall attached to the Crystal City metro stop. The owner/chef was extremely friendly and all the food was delicious!

We ate at the counter, but I'm guessing that most of their business is for takeaway, given that it's located next to a metro stop.

The prices were extremely reasonable for the rolls we ordered, especially given its location.

The only cons I can give are as follows (and they're either not serious enough to warrant a lower rating or not in the restaurant's control): There are exactly four seats at the counter, so larger parties will have to find somewher else to eat If you don't already know where this is, it is very difficult to find. The address is somewhat misleading. After searching for 15 minutes, we finally found an unmarked set of stairs that led down...
