The greeter/waiter was very rude. When we entered, he POINTED to the area where we could sit. We found a table and when he came to the table, he said sarcastically "well, this is kinda where I told you where you could sit". My friend was indecisive about what she wanted to order, so I told him I would like a soup while I waited for her to decide. He told me he was going to wait to put the entire food order in together. My friend proceeds to ask him about the difference between various dishes. His explanations were confusing. When I attempted to summarize what he said, he responded rudely, "That's what I said." The Tom Yum soup was good as well as the spring rolls. My friend was so disgusted with the server, she decided to only order the crab rangoon (she only stayed because I stayed). For my entree, I ordered pad see ew. I did not like the noodles, they were very mushy. I did not eat them. I only ate the meat and broccoli. I will not be returning to...
Read moreOn the way home from the National Zoo, we were pretty cold and a bit hungry, and it was around 9pm. So as we walked past one place or another, we'd have to decide quickly whether we wanted to try it. This is where we ended up. It wasn't our first choice, but it was pretty good! The name is pretty silly, it seems like half of Thai restaurants have silly names.
There was one small group of diners inside, and they seemed to be enjoying their meal. The whole dining room could only hold a few tables. The menu had a bunch of dishes we'd normally get in Thai restaurants, like spring rolls, but here even those had meat in them. Fortunately, we both like pad Thai and that was meat-free. That was the only thing we had, and it was pretty good.
Service was good and helpful, but not too familiar with the ingredients. It worked out nicely though. I'm not sure I'd make a point to return, but I enjoyed...
Read more“I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars because the staff was very friendly, and the food was good. However, there were a few issues that stood out. When we walked in, there was a noticeable odor, though someone did address it promptly. The entrance had a lot of leaves and debris, which gave a messy first impression. Additionally, the bathroom smelled unpleasant, and the plates were cold, which impacted the dining experience. While the food was tasty, it wasn’t exceptional, and one of our dishes, the shrimp fried rice, didn’t arrive. Another note: the restaurant is listed as ‘closed’ on Yelp, which could confuse potential customers.
Despite these concerns, the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness made up for a lot, which is why I’m giving 4 stars. I hope they address these minor issues, as this place has...
