Ah, I wish I’d seen the review before this about the this place not being up to the usual Tiger sugar quality. Tiger sugar is one of my favorite boba chains, I first fell in love with it in Flushing NYC and I always stop by the one in Annandale. My order is more or less the same wherever I go and I can definitely tell you this is not Tiger sugar boba quality. 😭 My drink was so foul that I tried to make my bf drink it and he tried it and was like NOPE. We were in the car for 20minutes and this was all we drank that’s how bad it was. My bf got thai tea and his also tasted completely different than the tea we always get though slightly more edible (it had a really strong French vanilla taste?). Summary: We’ve had Tiger Sugar from Annandale, Atlanta, and Flushing. Whatever this is, it’s completely different.🙃

Tiger Sugar is well-known for their creamy milk teas and rather good boba, which I will not contest. However, prices for this place are ridiculous with a starting price for their signature "regular" milk tea being $7. Not to mention the extra charges for a large and to use dairy-free milk, adding another $2. I was disappointed that the drink I received ended up having milk inside, despite asking the cashier multiple times what was dairy free and forgoing the coveted mousse and paying extra for the dairy-free option. The place is located within a recently opened food hall and the location is quite nice, but my experience was heavily tainted by the lack of non-dairy options.

Is this place a complete fake Tiger Sugar or what? Besides the logo, nothing else felt like the original Tiger Sugar. The cups didn’t have the logo, and the drink was missing everything that makes it signature. I found it very disappointing and a complete waste of money. I ordered the M1 Signature drink, and not only did it not taste the same, but it didn’t look or feel like the real thing either. Why would you list ‘pearl’ on the menu and then say you don’t have it? If something’s unavailable, you should inform the customer beforehand. Complete scam.

My new go to spot!! I find it hard finding a good boba place around the DMV area and this place checked all my four boxes: Flavor, Boba, cleanliness, and customer service. I ordered the Brown Sugar with pearl milk and cream moose and WOW, it was beyond delicious and also very beautiful. The boba was amazing - it was sweet and chewy. The employees were extremely professional and friendly. They helped me with my order, provided knowledgeable suggestions factoring what I wanted and deem important and they also worked very efficiently with a speedy wait time.

Overall, the flavors all went together perfectly and no ingredient was overbearing, all harmonized. It was such a great experience! I highly recommend Tiger Sugar and will be suggesting it to all my...
