I am only giving this 1 star because we did not get an opportunity to experience the salon. I called earlier in the week to make an appointment for my girls. The receptionist was awesome and helpful. I was excited to take my daughters to a children's salon in our community. We were booked for 9am on Saturday, June 30. When making the appointment, I told the receptionist that the early time was best. I arrived with my girls before 9am and waited for 40 minutes and the salon was closed! I couldn't believe it and felt that perhaps the staff was running a bit behind, but waiting 40 minutes is a bit excessive. I had an amazing time. The four woman who worked on my girls hair did and amazing job very friendly. Very easy to set an appointment i called at 8am and was given an appointment that day they washed, trimmed, and braided my girls hair. They are 9 and 3. They even do boy cuts. The stylist gave tips on keeping the girls hair healthy and even gave tips on the types of trims they should have. My youngest cried and they worked around it. I have a 5 year old son with really long, curly and bushy hair. He never had Cornrows before due to the difficulty of his tenderheaded self not willing to sit still and cry. So I wanted to get it done for a Costume for Halloween so I called and spoke to Ms. Evette, she did my sons hair and she did a magnificent job. Everything came out perfect and I will be a repeat customer because of how she handled my son and the quality of work.
