I recently had the pleasure of dining at Youebe Cafe for breakfast, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped by the warm and inviting atmosphere, beautifully adorned with traditional Ethiopian decor that made the space feel both cozy and culturally rich.
The menu at Youebe Cafe is a delightful journey through Ethiopian cuisine. I started with the shawarma platter, and the chicken was perfectly marinated in a blend of aromatic spices, infusing it with rich, savory flavors. As it's grilled to perfection, the chicken remains incredibly tender and juicy, with a delightful smoky char that adds depth to its taste. The platter also includes a side of fragrant rice, which soaks up the delicious juices from the chicken, making every forkful a delectable combination of textures and tastes. The entire dish is a symphony of flavors and sensations, leaving you thoroughly satisfied and eager for the next bite.
One of the standout experiences at Youebe Cafe is the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Watching the coffee beans being roasted and then brewed fresh was a sensory delight, and the resulting coffee was rich and aromatic, a perfect end to the meal.

Read moreI have come here so many times since Youebe first opened since it’s right next to my house and it’s the perfect neighborhood cafe/coffee shop. There’s good seating, delicious food, and all the folks who work there are so friendly and nice. Hot girls don’t gatekeep and I want them to have all the success so here’s my little review.
The breakfast food is SO good and so is the hummus which is definitely house made so those are my menu highlights. Coffee quality varies a bit but I’m sure it’s just cuz they’re new. I think they know me by now bc I come so much but you know if I’m gonna spend all my income might as...
Read moreYouebe has become a staple for my partner and me -- and their food is where they really shine. Their Ethiopian dish portions are so large you can take some home and split them. They're also one of the few coffee shops I know that have Soy Milk! The coffee is smooth, easy, and savory. I always look forward to getting my coffee there.
They have so many options for vegans and vegetarians -- and an overall wide array of food, from Mediterranean, American, you name it. Also, tons of outlets, late hours, great wifi, and a very calm vibe.
The staff are also very sweet -- so glad to have this in the...
