The Realm Roasters — Restaurant in Camas

I'm unfortunately not the type of consumer that prefers being hounded and followed by personnel to buy coffee which is what happens every time I try to shop in this complex. I did check out menu when they first opened and it all seemed to be mixed redbull drinks, so I wasnt interested in buying any. When questioned the staff didn't seem to have any info or know what the "lets go on an adventure" stuff was about. I also live on a fixed income which means I can not afford much and was laughed at when I tried to explain this while being hounded to purchase a lemonaid when leaving another store by its owner. As a disabled person I also find it difficult to walk past the area due to their signs being placed in the wheelchair ramp area blocking customers way thru. I feel like this place could be a bit more considerate with how they choose to approach others using the shopping complex and allowing a safe clear area for disabled and elderly citizens to be able to use...

I found this gem of a coffee shop in the heart of Camas and being a coffee guy myself I had to stop by. I was greeted by the nicest two men in town Andrew and Carl. The coffee was delicious, they even gave me a few samples of what they had in the hopper that day. I also walked away with a sample bag of freshly roasted coffee that I got to put through my La Marzocco at home, talk about the best customer service! I highly recommend you swing by. The walk up window is perfect as you can grab a coffee and go shopping in the plaza or grab a drink and walk around in the historic Camas that is minutes away. This hidden gem is perhaps the best coffee in the PDX area. Their beans have such smooth and beautifully balanced flavors, that come through each and every cup. If you are chasing the ever illusive "best cup" this little hole in the wall, though unassuming, is well worth checking out. You will be pleasantly surprised.

My only critique is that their hand crafted drinks are getting a little too sweet. Which is such a shame, because what makes them stand out is the beautiful balance of their beans, which I feel deserves thoughtful balance in the flavors of crafted drinks as well.
