I’ve never wanted to give a review. But here I am. I wish I could give negative stars. Very disappointed. My soon to be fiancé went in to look for engagement ring and was very excited (as a young women would be) the people were not nice or knowledgeable. She went through 3 people in about an hour of shopping due to “lunch break” “phone calls” etc. Then sat waiting for about 20 min to be helped AGAIN after 2 people left so she went to lunch and came back. It’s like they were frustrated she didn’t take 10 min to pick a ring and drop 7,000$ on it. A different lady helped her after her lunch break but was very rude, checking her watch all the time, etc. After looking for a chunk of time my gf found the perfect ring she wanted to get. I was committed to buying it but last minute she was told that ring would be 2,000$ more expensive than it was advertised. They said “oops typo can’t sell it to you for that price”. After many conversations with several people the management started to get super suspicious. My gf let them know her mind and also that she has pictures of the false advertising they had. They did not care and refused to give it to her for what it was priced as. She was so disgusted by the store, customer service and people that she picked up and left the store. Makes me so aggravated. She is no longer motivated to look at rings and so let down she isn’t excited to make further engagement plans over this. Thanks Fred Meyers! So Much time, energy and...
Read moreI was recently given a bracelet for a gift that was purchased at Fred Meyers. After I had it sized I attempted to wear it. I wore it three times. Each and every time I wore it, the bracelet fell off my wrist. Lucky for me, I found it each time. I stopped wearing the bracelet and a couple of months later I took it to the store for them to fix it. The salesgirl agreed it was defective and then told me they could fix it for a sum of $72.00. I asked why should I pay for a defective product to be fixed. She had no answer. I asked for the manager to phone me about the issue as the manager was not available. To date, one week later, I have received no call nor any acknowledgement that they will fix the defective clasp. DO NOT PURCHASE AT FRED MEYERS JEWELRY. They will sell you a defective product and refuse to fix it. In order to post this review I had to give them a star rating. I would have preferred to give them a zero rating. I have an update. Yesterday the manager of the store got in touch with me. I met with her today, and the store will fix my bracelet at no charge to me. Yeah! I will change my review...
Read moreThey have the lowest prices compared to other leading jewelry stores. They are always eager to help and offer to clean jewelry for free. Even if I haven’t purchased it from there.
Their life time jewelry plan ensures I’m taken care of against normal wear and tear for the life of my piece as well as accidental damage. I’ve lost stones before from everyday wear and they have been more than happy to replace them for me with the diamond guarantee they gift with any purchase. I just have to bring it in for inspection once a year to help catch preventative maintenance, plus they take that opportunity to clean it then as well. Since I get the warranty that covers wear and tear, if any work is needed at the time of my inspection, they take care of me by sending it to their Jeweler to have it repaired for free. I trust them to help me with anything...
