I thrift everywhere I travel. This is the WORST priced thrift store I have ever been to. The prices are insane.
This is a FOR PROFIT organization that is completely taking advantage of the community.
I was so disgusted by the store I decided not to buy anything. Used old lotions for 3-10$, 40 year old blenders 50$, power tools 80$, dvd players 80$
Every sheet set was 40$ Generic blankets 35$
GoodWill Sheets 39.99+ Blankets 35$+ Shoes 15- 80$ Basic 30 year old electronics 80$ ++ Old kitchen appliances 40$ ++ Keurigs, old dirty blenders, used air purifiers etc 30$++++ Shirts 11-80$ Skirts 12-50$ Jackets- 45- 200$

Read moreI don’t think I’ve ever written a 1 star review but I am hoping management might see this. I stop in here about once a week or so to donate some items or take a quick look around. I’ll even bring the kids to shop sometime since they like thrift stores. However, I’ve noticed over the last couple years the prices have become truly ridiculous. Goodwill receives hundreds of thousands of items through donations from individuals and from big box corporations like Target, yet many times they then turn around and charge nearly brand new prices or much higher. A simple Google search would show exactly what the item is worth. Who is pricing these items? It’s absolutely insane. Just today they have a used craftsman toolbox priced at $130, it can be purchased for $39 brand new. So much of their inventory is damaged, torn, worn out or a straight up price gouge. Come on Goodwill, do better. Maybe take a hint that if stuff is sitting unsold for 4 months and no one will buy it at even at 75% off then your pricing model is waaaay off. And isn’t this supposed to be an affordable option for people who don’t have the financial means to buy new? I have to be honest, I don’t think in good conscience I can support a place like this anymore. I’m going to donate elsewhere and no longer shop here until they come back...
Read moreEchoing sentiments of older reviews, the selection and prices in this store are abysmal. This has to be one of the worst Goodwill stores in the nation - even the ho-hum Anchorage stores are far superior to this. Like many Goodwill stores, they must do a good job of skimming items and brands you would like to find because you see a fraction of decent-quality items that you can find at other local thrift stores, and much of the stuff that somehow slips through the skimming process is priced to the moon no matter the condition. "As is" untested beat up electronics for $$$, basic Carhartt pants for $25-$50, pilly cotton Woolrich (one of the their "golden" brands) button up for $70. I have no idea how they have the time to bar code scan and Google lens nearly everything in the store but that is the vibe you get from browsing around for any length of time. For clothes they also love to scrawl their prices somewhere on the item, damaging it, in addition to punching a hole poorly in some other area of the item damaging it again (the latter especially annoying if it's a waterproof jacket). I've had no problems with the friendly staff and this review is strictly about how the store is run. Please donate your good items...
