SUN KEE KITCHEN ALWAYS THE VERY CLEANEST Establishment. THIS IS THE ONLY CHINESE FOOD THAT'S REALLY GREAT. ALL THE OTHER Chinese Food in Waterbury food is like RUBBER,& cannot chew or digest. ( MY roomate ordered fromCHINA 1) on East main St. China one didn't use Chicken for Bourbon CHICKEN,THEY used beef organs like tongue,& liver!! It wasn't chicken. SUN KEE KITCHEN WOULDN'T EVER do that, ALWAYS USES THE REAL DEAL NO SUBSTITUTES, NO LYING TO CUSTOMERS.SUN KEE KITCHEN IS THE ONLY GOOD CHINESE FOOD IN Waterbury.ONLY FRESH. CLEAN FOOD,Always uses New CLEAN cooking Oil,NEVER OLD,you can tell by the difference in the taste of Sun KEE KITCHEN (the difference is ALWAYS FRESHEST INGREDIENTS. I went here for the first time for New Year's Eve food. My regular place was unexpectedly closed so in Googling around I decided on this place. I did let them know I'd be giving them a review afterwards. I do have to say firstly, this place is so absolutely clean and they had a very nice area if you want to dine in. The people who work there are very nice and they had no problem cooking the broccoli longer in the chicken and broccoli because we don't like it too hard. I had a large order and there were no mistakes and it was done while I waited in a timely fashion. The food was delicious. They did not overuse the vegetables so you get less meat. The egg foo young was great! The chow mei fun was very good and actually the reason I chose this place cuz every place doesn't make it. Lo mein excellent and chicken fingers tender. All In all this is my new place to go when I want Chinese food. When you order they ask if it's cash but they definitely do take cards. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a try, just be specific about how you want your order as they were very accommodating. Besides softer broccoli, I wanted only mushrooms in my egg foo young and they did it no problem, it cost $1 more but that's fine. Again. It's a great and clean place for take out or eat in. Terrible customer service. Women and men can be heard screaming their language e in the background with no regard for the customer on the phone and their beef related items are scary to say the least. However, the worst thing I dislike about them is the fact that they overcharge you every single time. Connecticut sales tax is 6.35%. But it seems like they charge their own taxes. My last meal I purchased there was 13.30 but they charged me an additional $2. I asked why the item came out to be so much and they said taxes. FYI , 6.35% of 13.30 is is only .84 cents not 2$ I can only imagine how many people they fraudulently overcharge.
