OMG! I am only here for a couple of days, visiting family. When I come back this will be a regular stop! The chili is amazing. Coney with cheese is where it is at! All those things were great, BUT THE FRIES ARE AMAZING! I got chili cheese fries and they were to die for! I am going to keep bugging them for t-shirts. The place has been around since 1936! I am so glad I could enjoy this slice of heaven! Fantastic service! They accept debit cards. 3 bucks for a coney, and 350 with cheese. 7 for the chili cheese fries, but trust me you will not be disappointed. Hand cut cottage fries! Simply the best. I will dream of those fries until I come back! Strong work, I will see you again!

I moved to NC for 4 years but I ate at Walts each time I visited. We left NC to evacuate for a hurricane, and I had my son in MI while it was happening. A few days before giving birth we visited Walts, we came back again before I went into the hospital, and before I left MI to go reunite with my husband we visited again. I also remember busting my lip for the first time ever sitting at the counter. 🤣 Always a friendly face & great food served here. Lots to see on the walls, we've signed them probably about 3 times!

Very cool. Chili cheese dog, although an Ohio thing, was delicious. Be sure to sign the wall your first time there!

For coming here for the first time and it being a Waterford tradition, the coney dogs were good but I think perhaps a bit overrated. I asked for everything and I don’t know where the mustard was but I didn’t see any. Perhaps too well hidden. The one lady that was an owner, I asked if they had Flint - style coney’s. She said, no - those are gross! I asked again and said why not? She just said no - once more. Before going in the door I knew they wouldn’t have any “dogs” except Detroit - style which was fine. Didn’t really appreciate her initial attitude, she was very vehement in her response. I wasn’t impressed at all. I might go back some day....
