Second time at this establishment, my first was when they recently opened so I had to give them a fair shake. Main takeaway is the food is extremely lacking in flavor (seasoning) and the prices are hefty. I first had the birria tacos—which were pretty good, but again, lacked flavor in the meat and sauce. $15. I recently had a carne asada (steak) quesadilla—again, lacking flavor and $15 with a small drink. Oh, and it was weird/a hassle to them when I asked for sour cream, which they naturally wanted to charge extra for a very small container.
That being said, it’s a clean restaurant and appears to be fairly busy over lunch most days. I’d like to see some hot sauce options in addition to the 6 presumably fresh salsas/pico offered and maybe some complimentary sour cream. Read moreBeen twice and loved both meals. 1st did drive thru. They're making stuff fresh, so wasn't the fastest, but quick enough. Got chile rellenos meal and loved it. Used for 2 meals (the chile that night & beans/rice with tortilla the next day).
