I’ve been to other Freddy’s locations in the past and had amazing service. I visited this location for the first time to grab something quick while I was on break at the drive through. My order was simple a custard, double cheese, and cheese curds. I got my custard and it was basically a cup of soup, then received my bag. I then left because I had to go back to work and started eating on the way back since I only had a few minutes and my break would be over by the time I got back. Custard was impossible to eat since I only received a spoon and it was soup, then I realized my sandwich I received was completely wrong. I received a chicken bacon sandwich on a pretzel bun which I wouldn’t eat. I had contacted the store immediately and they informed me that they were going to comp my meal and send me a card in the mail and I’d receive it within the week. It’s now been over 2 weeks and nothing. Very annoying when you go through a drive through to grab something quick and you don’t have time to go back or get something else, now you have nothing to eat until you get off work...
Read moreWalked in and the music was very loud and it was hard to talk to the person that was taking the order. The manager/assistant manager turned it down after dealing with it for a few mins. The manager turned it down alittle bit. In a restaurant everyone post to be wearing pants not shorts and the manager/assistant manager is wearing shorts in the restaurant while interviewing with someone as of today 7/21/2020 at 3:45 pm to rest of the day. They forgot to give me a kids lid and start but gave me a cup. Burgers still a bit thin and the other orders was still missing stuff. Order chili cheese fries and no silverware to use and asked me what sauce for the chicken nuggets. If its on the screen it should tell them. They need to retrain the staff in the waterloo location to read the screens properly. I worked in a restaurant for years and I NEVER messed up an order because I follow the screen instructions. New general manager or something, I got ghosted through the drive thru and called to let them know in case they wanted to correct the behavior, since I chose not to order anymore. The First Lady on the phone talked to me, asked how she could help, and while I was still talking to her she gave the phone to a different person (rude) and didn’t tell me. Then the man I talked to tried to tell me they attempted to take my order but didn’t hear anything back from me. Which he claimed AFTER I had already told him the woman on the headset for lane 2 DID interact and talk to me. I said “could I possibly get the tots?” She replied, “tator tots?” And I said yes. Then I waited a few seconds. Then I asked for tenders. Then I sat in silence for an entire minute (I was on a phone call too) before I decided I didn’t care anymore and drove off. Maybe don’t lie? A simple “sorry that happened” and I wouldn’t have cared… but...
