I’ve been to this location a few times, the service is very dry, the employees give off the vibe of not wanting to be there and almost like their arms are being twisted to talk to the customers, majority of the time they are on their phones, or in groups talking. A few times while waiting in line with a few other people, they would act like they didn’t see us or they were busy, at one point during a visit I though there was no one there because there was no one behind the counter, a few minutes later 4 employees come walking out from the back laughing and smiling, that’s why I prefer the Gilroy and Morgan hill location which is a farther drive for me but well worth it because of the great service we get there.
Well today I visited this location as I was picking up groceries near by and didn’t have dinner yet, so my husband placed a pick up order. When we arrived to the drive thru the team member asked what kind of soda I wanted and I said Coke Zero. When we got home I had half of the large cup with Coke Zero, the ice started melting and as I made my way to the bottom the drink started tasting off, well as I hit the bottom I saw a black object in my cup, I took off the lid and noticed that it was part of the fountain drink dispenser 🤮 I felt sick to my stomach...
Read moreI’m regularly disappointed with the service and quality at this location. Several times I’m waiting while workers see me and don’t help, busy working on to go orders or cooking. I’ve been given cold food if ordered through the app, chip bags full of crumbs, guacamole with chunks of avocado or pieces of skin, and more.
I just had to knock it down from 2 stars to 1. This is seriously the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. Just showed up for lunch at noon, they have 3 workers, no Barbacoa, no Carnitas, and barely any steak.
Update: I’ve completely stopped going to eat here, as far as I’m concerned, there is no Chipotle in Watsonville. I’ll wait and go when I’m in Monterey, Santa Cruz, or Salinas.
Update 2: Decided to give it another chance. I’ll give them credit for having 4 people on the line this time. I will also be upset that I ordered a salad and got all the way to the end of the line before I was told that they didn’t have any vinaigrette prepared, and proceeded to ask as if I was putting them out not being told when I ordered the salad. And they were annoyed when I said I would wait for...
Read moreI’ve eaten here several times over the last few months. The experience has been consistently bad. Every time I walk in the store I’m the only person in there, yet not once have I been greeted by any of the employees working in the open kitchen. One time I was ignored by the only working employee while I could hear several others talking in the back. The customer service is embarrassingly poor. The food is not much better. Since this store seems to have very little business, the prepared food sits for long periods of time. Every one of my burrito orders has featured cold, dry meat. The flavor is passable, but there is a distinct lack of effort on the part of the staff to make delicious food at this location. Nothing about eating here is appetizing. Please save your money and visit any of the fine Mexican restaurants in town. Chipotle is a National brand with a certain reputation of standards, but the management at this location has let it fail. Never...
