Avocado Express — Restaurant in Waukegan

Oh man, the chipotle chicken pannini was on point. And yay, I found a sweet potato french fry spot to go to now. Although a little crunchier for my taste, I'm still happy. The restaurant was not exactly what I was anticipating. It's actually more of a breakfast and Mexican food spot. I will go back again though and try something different plus my s.p. fries. The dining area is small and it was hot, but I would still dine in there. (This was 4 years ago)

Again, Oh Man! So yesterday I went here for the pannini I like, but actually ordered the wrong sandwich, it was still good. I finally tried the crepes, and I'll have to say I personally don't like crepes like I thought I would. Still good again, chocolate chip probably been better. But man oh man, I ordered my baby the chocolate chip pancakes 😭 and he tore them thangs up. I had just a bite and was like damn we gotta go back for more. Definitely giving my favorite breakfast spot out here a run for they money. And that's what we did today. I checked out the menu to see what this lady was eating yesterday, it was there popular chilaquiles. I added onions, avocado and asada. Had it with the red sauce and I was thoroughly impressed! 👌 👏 We'll probably be back next week. 😅 Well worth every dime. Oh, one more thing, they are so freaking fast with your order. At minimum 10-15 minutes depending on how much you're ordering.

Today was our first experience here and it was excellent from start to finish. We where greeted with enthusiasm and a warm smile. After checking out the menu choices we settled on one breakfast item "avocado Benedict " get t with house hot sauce & "chicken club with extra crispy fries" comes with home made aioli. Omg so good! We dipped our fries into the aioli to our hearts content. They do come bus the tables even though you order at the counter which is nice. We sat outside and watched the world go by while eating this yummy meal. At one point the proprietress came out to check in and we had a lovely conversation. All good things. Know this folks. I adore egg harbor and wildberry in libertyville, but the food here today was actually better and at $16 for 2? You just can't beat that. Everything is fresh. BTW... Best eggs Benedict I've ever had. I would say this is a great place to eat for breakfast and lunch! The atmosphere is great and the service is even better. I’m always satisfied with my order and it’s always cooked and delivered to our table within 10-15 mins. The servers always keep the tables clean and check up on you to ask how’s the food or if we need anything else! I love how they have fresh orange juice and healthy choices. Their menu has a variety of options and I love it because it has many different choices from Mexican food to American and it’s such great food. I always order something different because I want to experience the different taste of this restaurant! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new in Waukegan and for those looking for a breakfast/lunch place! My go to item from here are the green chiliaques with sunny...
