This place deserves NO stars! But, I had to alert others who might think of buying from here while on a fun family outing. Our family decided to buy from here because the kids wanted a pretzel dog. BIG MISTAKE. Seeing the long line, we were hesitant, but we spotted multiple signs saying we could place an order via the app and skip the line. Figured that was ok and placed an order via the app. We got the confirmation email saying the food would be ready within 18 minutes and to proceed to the checkout counter by the given time. We adhered to that, but when we went to the counter at the said time, the lady said there was a 40 min wait time! 40 MINUTES! I thought I heard wrong and asked hubby to check. They started getting angry when we asked a second time and the counter lady called the store manager who seemed ready to fight. When we asked if we could cancel the order, she retorted that we would need to do it from our side as she does not handle anything related to the app. I'm thankful our kids did not have to see such rude behavior. We tried to cancel the order from the app but there was no option to cancel it. Tried calling customer service on the app, but there was no answer. We went back to confirm what time we needed to return. The ruckus the store manager made was unbelievable! She yelled at me asking, "What is your problem? I am doing my job. You need to do yours." and much more!! I was taken aback because I was there as a customer, just wanting to know what time to return so that we did not need to stand there doing nothing for almost an hour! She continued to berate me and would not let me speak. She said she had no idea what goes on in an app and that does not concern her. She needed to look after the customers that were standing in a line and did not care if it was a mobile order or even Doordash or UberEats! On seeing mall security personnel walk by, she even called one of them and asked them to remove me from the place!! I have NEVER been so shocked, disappointed and angry at a service personnel's behavior and at the way we were treated. We did not raise our voice even once and neither did we speak rudely to them. Thankfully, the security guard was polite and actually heard what I had to say. We had wasted 30 min there by then and we did not want to stick around not knowing whether we would get the food we ordered or not, and to be honest we didn't want anything from that store anymore. The ladies were not wearing name tags. If you can avoid going there, I would strongly suggest you stay away from the Auntie Anne' pretzel shop in Mayfair Mall. It was THE WORST experience EVER. Especially not one that you would ever want to have with your kids watching! We did not get any resolution until the end and we didn't get the food we ordered either. The only option we are left with is to dispute the charge with our credit card company. I gave them so much patience considering they were talking, joking, and messing around behind the counter. Further delaying the orders ahead of me and seeing the frustration of these previous customers. I figured its not going to take long to redeem a reward for food that was already made available in their hot-and-ready station.
I try to use my reward offer of a free drink or the hot dog bites with a purchase. I already ordered the drink and requested cinnamon bites and regular bites to my order. The cashier then snaps on me because she's confused and unaware of what to do. (Assuming she's new) and says "Okay, so what is it that you want?!"
I slow it down for her understanding. She turns to her manager, explains the situation, and then he turns back to me and says that they can't do it. Even though I ordered the drink with the purchase required for the reward.

Read moreI'd usually have great experiences but this experience was not up to par. I've been at this location multiple times especially Mayfair Mall itself. You've got employee's who really don't care, especially this one (via photo). Normally, I wouldn't do this but her attitude was beyond repair. If you can't handle working at a Mall, please don't. There's tons of people visit everyday(even late). Yes? They'll order late. I've worked in resturant businesses since I was 16. No excuse for such a disgusting behavior. I'm not sure what the family said to this young lady, but she lost her cool. She needs to learn better customer service, or just get fired for her appalling behavior.
