This particular store gets zero stars but in order to make the post, I had to select one. Much more than they deserve. I had ordered a pizza two weeks previously and it was extremely late and cold upon delivery. I had tracked the driver on the app and he was all over the neighbourhood. When he did show up, he took me to task for my directions. I just took the pizza and wrote up a poor review on the Dominos app. Two weeks later, I ordered again and there was no delivery for over 90 minutes. I went to check the front door and found the pizza thrown in the mulch beside the door! It was apparent some form of wild life had been gnawing on it. I called the store to complain and spoke to Asst. Manager Josh. He was unapologetic and had a "so what" demeanour. I hung up and went to the store with the pizza. When I entered the store, the delivery individual from two weeks previously was there but abruptly left. I then spoke to "Josh". He initially was shocked at the condition of the pizza but quickly regained his previous attitude when he remembered our previous discussion. Long story made short, I advised "Josh" that the matter was handled extremely poorly and that I would be escalating my complaint to Dominos' corporate, the local Chamber of Commerce and the local health authority. "Josh" replied that he did not care and advised me that I was on the store security camera. My advice, do not patronise this store. The management is obviously disconnected from what even passes as minimal client service and the delivery person is in severe need of...
Read moreI ordered a pizza and cinnamon twist to be delivered for 7:45. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach my phone when the delivery driver called. Instead of leaving the pizza the driver took the pizza with them and did not leave a voice message indicating they have attempted to notify me they have arrived, or they had trouble reaching me and the next steps I need to take to get my pizza. I called Domino's to see what was going on with my pizza and they sent the driver out again with my order and no communication from the driver. This time I made sure to keep my phone near by and still no call... at all. After waiting for 20 minutes for my order to arrive a second time, I decided to check arrivaed. Come to my order was sitting on my porch. Again no communication from the Domino's the order was delivered. Once, I got my order and reviewed it, I found items were missing. I called my local Domino's store and they really didn't do anything to correct the issue. Yes, the did offer to send a new order. By the time the order would arrive it would too late and I would to deal with the lack of communication again. I felt they were rushing to get me off the phone due to the number of orders...
Read moreI work at dominos and yes things get messed up but here's the reasons things happen
if you are on the phone for a very long time, it's probably because we have 30+ orders to make and we have 4 people working inside and there is no one to answer the phone. if there was a mistake, come to the location, it will get done quicker
if delivery is delayed, it's because we don't have many delivery drivers working, carryout and carside will always get your pizza quicker.
if you order 15+ pizzas on a busy weekend night and it isn't a timed order, 7/10 we will cancel the order. It's inconsiderate for the workers who are already working super hard on 30+ orders that are already late, we simply cannot do that. please make it a timed order, and timed orders are typically priority.
if you order pizza from 4-7 on a Friday or Sunday, it's gonna take a while. those are our busiest nights. put in a timed order or order earlier
if a staff member is rude to you it's either a- we're all tired and overworked, b- you were rude as well or c- it's a teenage boy who barely even shows up so we're just glad he's there. but please let us know that.
