It's always highly entertaining to watch people's reactions when you tell them to meet you at Tosa Tavern, and when they ask where that is to tell them it's inside Whole Foods. :) First, the beer. Tosa Tavern regularly has tap takeovers from breweries all over the country. When they do, there are major discounts on some very hard to find beer. (We got a tulip of Dogfish Head 120 for $3.00 and were pretty sure someone was going to lose their job because of it!) The distributors always hang around to chat with you and provide some swag if you're enjoying one of their beers. The prices are insane on regular beers as well, and you're going to be hard pressed to find better prices on craft brews anywhere in town. Tosa Tavern also serves food and it's solid. They used to have loaded tots which were tater tots that were stuffed with amazingness inside the shell, but I think they moved away from that which is the saddest thing I've seen in awhile. Their sandwiches are good and their burgers are standard. They even have deals on their burgers and sandwiches on Thursday nights. As a bonus, you can literally buy anything in Whole Foods and eat it in the bar area. If you aren't feeling burgers, go grab a slice of pizza or food from their hot buffet or sushi and grab a beer. There's a couple of large tvs, charging ports under the bar, and trivia on Thursdays. As of right now Tosa Tavern is still pretty light on the attendance but I'm quite honestly hoping it stays that way. The only bummer is that they close at 9 pm when the actual store closes. So keep an ear out for last call or you'll be disappointed!

Don't know why this place has three dollar signs. It's incredibly cheap! $4 for pretty much everything (20 craft taps, well/rail drinks, and wine). They have a great selection of 20 rotating craft beer taps for $4, and also offer growler fills. It's hard to go wrong here.

I've been in Whole Foods Market several times and did not notice the bar! $4 craft beer menu 20 to choose from. I'm home

I have so many good memories here since I moved back to Milwaukee. The main bartenders have great customer service. Shout out to Eddie and Andrew. Great prices, the energy and vibe is very positive.

Being able to buy food from the Whole Foods hot bar, pizza bar, and delis and eat it at Tosa Tavern (also inside Whole Foods) is a bonus.

Trivia Night on Thursdays is always fun. I have won a gift card...

I can’t say enough good things about this bar! The service is out of this world, and the ever-changing beer selection keeps things interesting (definitely a win for me). Plus, where else can you grab a drink, shop for groceries, enjoy a slice of pizza or something from the hot food bar, and catch the game—all in one spot? It’s like the ultimate one-stop hangout, and I’m...
