Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Waxahachie

Had the pleasure of visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe with friends and family. There were a lot of people in the establishment enjoying their smoothies and the atmosphere was good as people talked enjoying their smoothies and the nice weather inside and outside. It took 30 minutes for us to get our smoothies. We spoke with the owner about the long wait time and she explained they were still in training. One person in our party did not want to wait for their drink and we wanted the young lady at the counter to bless the next person who came in with a free drink and she said they were unable to do that however the smoothie has already been paid for. The smoothies taste pretty good and all appeared to be just one size. We will visit again in a few months.

This review has been long overdue for Tropical Café in Waxahachie. Every time I visit, whether inside or through the drive-through, the place is always clean and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Today, I accidentally left my wallet at home and didn't realize until after I had ordered. As I was explaining my situation, the manager kindly told me not to worry and let me take my food, trusting I would come back to pay later. His kindness and understanding made a huge difference, especially since I was feeling shaky from my diabetes. We love the waxahachie location. It's ALWAYS clean, ALWAYS fast and there always friendly. I never have to "MAKE SURE" it's all in the bag or that it taste right because no matter who waits on me it's ALWAYS a good experience. My 5th grader at the near by elementary says that CHASE makes the absolute PERFECT blimey limey. I think everyone does a fabulous job but I must agree it is always on point to the last drop when he makes it. So glad to have yall close to the house so we can enjoy yall for breakfast before school or a quick pick me up before my afternoon work shift.
