I'm giving it a 1 only because the dining room was clean and the food was excellent! Having said that, the customer service was awful for the second tikkjmjkkklItrfTVoopme in a row. I got to the counter to ord222er my usual. 3 employees were hovering on the other side ojohjjokkknojkmmhjf the counter. Not one of them greeted mejk. All 3 saw me walking up and looked away while doing something else. It took me having to say something to take my order. After I place my order, I said thank you to the young man. His response..."yeah". That DOES NOT suffice as you're welcome. He did confirm my order though, so there has been a little progress. One of them brings my order out to the table I'm sitting at. Again, I said thank you to a different young man. The respinse I get is another "yeah". I will give this location one more shot after this. If the service doesn't improve, I'm done here. I will eat at other places that are a little less convinient that have better service. I didn't say anything to the manager, because he was 10 feet away, clearly in listening range. Managers, you have observe and coach your people as needed. I didn't see either of the young men disappear, as to go into the office and receive coaching from the manager. That leads me to believe that the manager condones this...
Read moreI kind of feel bad for the 3 staff working the entire location during my visit. ONLY 3 PEOPLE! Their drive-thru was "SLAMMED" as they say.... So, apparently there's got to be an issue with employer/employee relations, otherwise the turnover rate wouldn't be such an issue.
The person who eventually did take my order explained to me that 3 other employees were either "no call/no show" or called in. While I emphathize, complaints go in the other direction. Up, through the chain of command; not to the customer who's just there for a burger and fries.
Then, I had to wait for literally an hour for my order.
I know Whataburger has a "made to order / made when ordered" sales model, but having to wait an hour for my order to be even acknowledged by the overwhelmed staff, is still as ridiculous as it gets. Also, as I said; I'm the customer, not a sounding board for your complaints, nor do I (the customer) have the ability or authority to address or resolve your grievances concerning your lackluster co-workers either up or down in your hierarchy of leadership at your location, or any...
Read moreGood food, but very slow, inaccurate service, inconsistent customer service.
I’ve been stopping at this location for a while now as it is a convenient location. The issues with service and speed have been consistent over the past 12 months so it is definitely a location issue and not just a time of day or personnel issue. The service is almost always very very slow. To the point that I have to ask myself “do I actually have enough time to stop here” every time I pull in. The customer service is rarely good, often the employees I’ve dealt with are somewhat rude and distant. Almost acting perturbed to have to serve me. But the biggest frustration is the order inaccuracy issues. This seems to happen mostly in the drive-thru, but I often receive the wrong food or something made incorrectly.
The restaurant is clean however and the food always tastes great, which are the only reasons they garnered a two-star rating from me. Hopefully things will...
