Disregard the 5 star reviews because I'm certain that the people that left them have no idea what they are talking about about. I'm a Sioux Falls Burger King connoisseur of sorts, as in, I have probably spent a couple thousand dollars at Burger King each year for the last two years. That being said, let me save you from this location. The quality of food at this particular location (for whatever reason) is subpar. The last two times I have ordered the eggnormous burrito at this location, I have received a stale greasy mess. I'm not sure what their business practices are here, but most food tastes like it has been made well in advance or sitting under a heat lamp for at least two days. The amount of grease that POURED out of the burrito onto my shirt and the strange exclusion of ice in my soda this morning was this locations last chance. In this two years, the speed of service has gone up (I will give them that) but it appears to be at the cost of quality. Furthermore, I'm pretty certain that both times I have ordered this meal at this location, they left out the sauce that is normally in the burrito, making this stale mess that much tougher to swallow. I will continue to review every Burger King in the area, but I show favoritism to the location just off of I-90, across from Flyin-J. The difference in quality is like night and day. If you can travel out of your way an extra few minutes to save your stomach from hurting like mine...
Read moreUnsafe atmosphere right outside. The food and service at this Burger King have always been great, but I had a very upsetting experience recently that I feel management needs to be aware of.
I came to have lunch with a coworker and parked nearby. There were about eight guys from the Fifth Round Gym hanging out on the wall whispering about us, right next to the lot. It felt awkward, but we didn’t think much of it, until we came out. One of the guys aggressively asked my friend what he was looking at, and when he said “nothing,” then his friends “oooohed” on, then the guy told him to “keep walking and show some respect.” I was shocked 😲 and speechless. It made us feel like we were in a hostile environment just for getting a burger.
My friend isn't confrontational at all going there again, and it really upset me to see him treated like that. I understand the lot isn’t technically owned by Burger King, but this is happening right next to your restaurant, and it will drive people away. Please have management look into this before it affects...
Read moreMy fiancé and I just went through this Burger King and the customer service of the employees was poor. We were in line and were the only ones in line for the order menu, when put on hold for 2-3 minutes by Taylor. I finally got my order taken and I pull around to realize I got put on hold because Taylor’s parents came through the drive thru. When the parents drove off, the drive thru window stayed open and I could hear Taylor saying “it’s okay I can be mean to my parents”. I feel like if she could be rude to her parents, she could be rude to me as a customer, so I feel disrespected. Plus, she was short and didn’t say much besides “here’s your food”. The manager who was standing their at the time, was wearing a green shirt and was just allowing everything to happen and be said in front of a customer. Poor management skills, that’s why I didn’t feel like bringing it up to her attention. I am highly dissatisfied and would not recommend stopping by this location.
