Placed an order online for pickup. When i arrived, two customers that were walkins with no pre-order received their sandwiches prior yo my ahead they me oline order. I noticed when i gave my name a receipt was printed and placed on the counter. It was obviously forgotten and instead of being courteous and apologizing for the error, nothing was said as if i wouldn't notice. Poor customer service on every level!!!!!
Update: gave this location one more try and this time i wasnt the only one that ordered online and watched other customers get served before a person that placed an ordrr ahead if time. This time for me, i had to stand around and wait for an employee to acknowledge my presence so they can hand me a hot sub that was sitting on the back counter for over 15 mins. The managnent and ownership has taken zero responsibility in fixing their issues and it will be my last time visiting this location. If you choose to go to this location, be ready to wait around forever and get poor...
Read moreI am going to split this review into two parts. First the global franchise of Jersey Mike's is the best deli chain. Local Mom and Pop spots best it but as far as chains this one is raining champ. My only complaint is the portion size. You can get a 1/4, 1/2, and full size sandwich. However you cannot get the optimal size 3/4 unless you buy both the mini and the regular which ends up costing as much as the giant. I feel like the corporate office knows this is the optimal size and purposely makes it unavailable to force extra giant size sales.
As far as this location is concerned on my visit they were severely understaffed. One employee is making all the sandwiches and also doing the register. He is backed up enough with the cold sandwich station but when someone orders a cheesesteak the place grinds to a halt. This also probably explains the state of the dining area. I ordered my sub at around 11:45 to be picked up at 12:00, I arrived and my sub was not made yet which normally wouldn't bother me as can wait a few minutes. However waiting an extra 20 minutes for my sub is excessive, especially since I order ahead of time online. The real kicker that annoyed me was that people who walked in and ordered in person got their subs quicker than I did. It makes me question what's even the point of online ordering if you get it slower than coming in and ordering in person. I understand it gets busy but I feel like it's unfair for those who order ahead of time just have other customers order in person and get it faster than you, which is very upsetting.
