Shake Shack Wayne — Restaurant in Wayne

I was completely blown away by the level and quality of service I received today. I don’t think I’ve ever had such good service at any other restaurant in my life! I came to the Wayne location today with intentions of going to Cava, but Cava had an insanely long queue, so my husband and I decided to do Shake Shack instead (next door). Normally if I’m craving a burger, I go to Habit Burger Grill, but today’s experience has completely converted me to Shake Shack from now on. Firstly, we were warmly greeted by Wael at the register. He is by far one of the FRIENDLIEST people we’ve ever met! He was so incredibly helpful, helping us decide what to order and navigating through the different options. He had a huge smile on him the entire time (even with other Customers) - he brought such a warm, welcoming vibe to the restaurant!! Wael, you are absolutely fantastic and have expert customer service skills, keep up the great work!

We then sat down outside, waiting for our food, and Patrick came to our table and asked us if we’d like any additional sauces with our meal. We were indecisive on what to choose as we hadn’t tried them before, so Patrick brought us every single one to try! I was BLOWN away by the generosity and customer service skills!! He then explained every single sauce to us, one by one, and even made some great recommendations as to what sauce + food combinations he loves. Patrick, you are an absolute STAR!!! He checked on us a few times too to see if we needed anything else, I was completely amazed and blown away by the customer service at this location. They treated us better than a luxury restaurant?!? It was so refreshing! Patrick then packed up the remaining sauces for us to take home and enjoy. Patrick, I am a SAUCE. GIRL. and you sealed the deal for me by introducing me to all of the different ones Shake Shack offers. They were fantastic.

And the food…. Freaking spectacular! It tasted SO SO fresh, I physically felt so good afterwards, didn’t feel like crap at all (and burgers usually make me feel like crap!). You can TASTE the quality of the ingredients, it was 10000% worth it.

Patrick and Wael - you are both fantastic human beings. Thank you so much for giving us such an enjoyable experience. I will be back for more soon, and will be telling my friends all about the Wayne location (#1177) ! I can’t thank you enough for making our day. Keep up the great work, you’re awesome.

Yesterday, Oct 3rd, I went to Shake Shack with my daughters and placed an order at the kiosk inside the establishment. As soon as we completed the order we received a text message indicating that we will receive a text message once the order was complete. After waiting outside for half an hour, I went back inside and inquired as to when the order will be complete. A young lady with a clipboard showing a list of names and numbers approached me to inform that unfortunately there were no more burger buns because the truck never delivered it for the day. She presented me with the option of a full refund or keeping the non burger items and a partial refund for the burgers. I was completely annoyed that they didn’t inform me sooner and requested a full refund. She asked for the name and number of my order and stated that I would receive a refund. Just then another worker handed me a little card for a free ice-cream or whatever. So that’s it. For the extreme inconvenience, I wasted 30 min or more of my time. I did not get to speak to a manger. My order name was simply added to a long list of names, and i was given a silly coupon and sent on my way. What’s the point of having a system that sends text messages to customers if you don’t use it? This customer contact process should...

I have been to couple of times to shake shack in Chicago. But In New jersey this was my second time. Always shakeshack has the best Veggie Burgers. I have tried them all and I Love them especially mushroom burger. I tired their lemonade its so refreshing. However this time I tired their new Dubai Pistachio shake. Honestly my experience was above average. The entire shake has lot of toasted Kataifi after having 2 spis my stomach became full. It dominated entire shake and could get the real Pistachio flavour. I wish they can modify some quantity to put in or else u can ask them to put less Kataifi if anyone feels the same like me. Service was super friendly and welcoming. The tallest person in that staff (sorry I forgot his Name) has welcomed us and provided the best service even they are in a rush to close. Ambience was great and super clean tidy tables. There was no wait time and our ordered was quickly made. This store has outdoor seating as well try to come here during sunset have lemonade and burger with your fav one. We also found parking for free so quickly. Overall experience is great but only thing I disappointed was about Kataifi dominated flavour which...
