Panera Bread — Restaurant in Wayne

Update May 2022. Staff is always very friendly here welcoming you when you enter the building and getting anything you need if you don't find it out on the floor..

I have been coming to Panera for a couple of years now. My wife introduced me to the restaurant that I never knew existed. I was surprised to see that the prices of many of the bakery goods were so cheap that I knew right away I would be coming here a lot! If you order a sandwich or soup or meal like that he gets a little more expensive but for the taste and quality it's definitely well worth the cost. It's not even that much. And if you're somebody like to order ahead and order using the app it's really convenient as you can walk into town and see your name up on the menu board know right away if they've completed your order already or if you going to wait a minute or two. This feature alone I've used dozens of times. It makes it so easy to come pick up something quick before work or after work on the way home! This is one of those places where you go in and you will notice usually half a dozen people sitting there with the computers on the table and doing their business work. So this is the place looking for this to be a great location just don't hog a table like some people do As I've seen at least two people sit there on the table that holds eight people with one computer and the paperwork spread out that's just rude. That said the turnover rate in the restaurant is usually good enough that there's always a table to be found! And if you use the motorhead system that's in the front of the store on the little tablets you can actually order sit down and have the food all bought you without ever leaving the table once you sat down. To use this feature you sign up with the Panera card and you can save your credit card information or not save your credit card information if you feel safe with that. So if you haven't been to Panera I would definitely recommend going to Panera this location is pretty good as well as it's located just outside the mall which is great after a hectic day of shopping or before a hectic day...

I ordered from here and it was disappointing. The delivery was fine, they did forget the Mac and cheese but I called and the manager said he’ll accommodate if I ever go in-store which I am not but I appreciate the attempt. We started eating and I’m excited because I love Panera but the food was ....... gross.I don’t know how else to describe it. I had the Frontega chicken sandwich with lettuce but they forgot the lettuce. It was a mess and flat out nasty. I had to eat it with a fork because the bottom slice of the bread was so thin it was barely there. My 8 year sister who’s Mac and cheese they forgot had a turkey sandwich that she did not eat. Her bread was also falling apart and it was everywhere. I had to throw that out. I also got a coffee and I love coffee and am not picky. But this coffee tasted bitter but sour bitter. It tasted off like something was wrong.

I still love Panera Bread and they have great food but this was just unacceptable and...

AVOID this location. I don't normally write reviews, but this was a mess, so I thought I would. I stopped in around 10:30 am on a weekday - not very busy. I ordered a hot chocolate with a muffin. Waited for pick up - there was 1 (small) order ahead of me - that was picked up a few minutes after I ordered. I spent the next 15 minutes watching and listening to the 3 employees talk and flirt with each other. After 10 minutes they started making my hot chocolate, of course the one making it requested help from another, then the flirting began again. 15 minutes later I was handed my hot chocolate, with chocolate running from top to bottom on the outside of the cup. Really??? Imagine if they were busy. Red flag for me should have been when I was placing my order - someone waiting in the dining area came up to complain that they were waiting forever for their 1 person order. Panera, you can do better than this!!! This location...
