We were having a private conversation among our party regarding the inability of the management to turn the tables in the restaurant in a timely manner. This was after a 55 minute wait that they had told us would be a 35 minute wait. During this time the hostess (a female with very short hair unsure of her name) continually complained to other employees about the customers and her frustration with customers inquiring about the wait times.

As I stated, the conversation I was having was private and only within our party. I NEVER asked to speak to a manager or any employee. Out of nowhere the manager confronts me in front of the entire restaurant and acts very aggressive with me and our party. This was totally uncalled for and some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced in any business setting. He aggressively stated that there was nothing he could do about not being able to turn the table. Sorry, but I believe their are very polite and courteous ways to let customers know if they are finished and paid it is time to move on, especially on a packed Friday night with wait times approaching and hour. After all the restaurant is a business, and isn't their ultimate goal to serve as many customers as possible and generate the most income possible. I believe the hostess previously mentioned said something to the manager as she may have been able to hear our private conversation, again totally unprofessional.

We are local Waynesville residents, we have been to Bogarts hundreds of times. I can assure you that will be our last visit. I will never recommend Bogarts ever again and will let everyone I know of...

Eating @ Bogarts in the past was Always exciting~ just knowing we were going there, was exciting! Then, Covid came along and we didn’t get to go there 😔 I have 2 entrees that are my favorite, and I haven’t even tried the rest of the menu because my favorites is all I order when we go there now. Hoping we get to go there tomorrow, after shopping-Especially @ Bealls-one if my favorite places to shop since I shopped at the Bealls in Myrtle Beach. It’s so worth the trip over, from Leicester! Great food, & Great shopping 🛍️ it just don’t get much better than that!! If you haven’t been…GO!!! Waynesville has so much to offer- it’s one of our favorite towns to do just that, Shop & Eat 😊 I would advise anyone to go there for a visit. A dear friend of mine also loves “The Sweet Onion” and there’s more than I can’t even name, but they’re ALL exceptionally Fine dining cafe’s, restaurants, grills, etc…the list goes on. If you’re remotely close to making the drive out, it’s worth it! Go out on a Saturday preferably/w all the time you need to shop down Main Street- @ the beautiful shops, then make a stop by Bealls-Don’t leave without stopping there, and go hungry so you can feast on some amazing food at one of the best places I’ve ever eaten…BOGART’S! You won’t regret it! Thanks Waynesville for going the extra mile for us...

We have been wanting to come to Bogart’s for a while, but every time we passed, the parking lot would be full. This indicated to me that they have good food, so I really wanted to try it. We got lucky and went on a Wednesday evening, and we were able to get a space. We were seated immediately and our server was Christina, who was super sweet! I ordered the cheeseburger with pimento cheese and a loaded baked potato, and my boyfriend got the Manco Sneed sandwich with a side of potato salad. We also ordered the mac and cheese side to share. My cheeseburger was ordered medium, and I really liked it. The pimento cheese was really good on it. The loaded baked potato was everything I wanted it to be, and I was surprised to see that it didn’t cost extra for it to come loaded. The mac and cheese was surprisingly the worst part of the meal, it was interesting because it tasted like a frozen one, but the taste of it was not like any I’ve had. My boyfriend enjoyed his sandwich, but he did not enjoy the potato salad as much. I tasted both and agreed with his opinion. All in all, I think that we could come back and try more of their menu. Christina was a wonderful server and she made us feel at home, so I could not complain about...

The air buzzed with the contented murmur of diners and the rhythmic clinking of silverware against plates. At Bogart's, a haven for comfort food connoisseurs, I awaited my order with a pleasant hum of anticipation. It wasn't just any dish; it was their legendary fried pickles, a symphony of culinary genius whispered about in hushed tones. And then, they arrived. Nestled in a woven plate, golden tendrils of crispy batter swirled around, revealing the verdant emerald heart of the pickle beneath. But these weren't your average, everyday spears. Sliced with a whimsical disregard for geometry, they were circles, perfect and uniform, like miniature emerald suns. I speared one tentatively, the shatter of the crust a delightful prelude to the symphony of flavors that followed. The tangy pickle, tempered by the creamy richness of the house-made ranch, sent shivers of pure joy down my spine. Each bite was a revelation, a testament to the transformative power of good food. These weren't mere fried pickles; they were an experience, a celebration of taste and texture. They were sinful, yes, but in the most delightful way possible. As I savored the last bite, a single thought echoed in my mind: pure, unadulterated bliss.

Food is good if you can get it. You better dine there as they always leave food out of to go orders. Either sides, entrees or appetizers…and you feel pressured about standing there to check the order cause there’s always a crowd. My mother picked up our order tonight and I begged her to check the bags before she walked out…she didn’t because she said there were so many people waiting. But of course…no potato skins…just sour cream. We aren’t asking for brain surgery…looks like two entrees and one appetizer would be a simple task. Things are getting expensive with todays economy and gas is soaring. Making a 30 min round trip to get the food that was left out of an order isn’t an option and is poor customer service. I hope the staff enjoyed their free potato skins. I didn’t leave negative reviews the first two times…but this is strike three. Here’s a pic of my $25 steak ordered medium…it’s well done.
